I couldn't open the link, but a friend of mine always played me this cover when I was going out in my beloved alt. musicbar years ago. IMO, the best GYOW-cover ever. Completely different, but the energy is spot on.

edit: Nice blog! The J.Mascis-song rocks, although I prefer his cover of Frampton's Show me the way. Celine dion doing ac/dc cracked me up too!
