Happy Birthday, Dad...

My old man would've been 58 today.

RIP.

I miss you, papa

haha...yeah this was in 2002 at a beach in Florida (I think Ft. Walton)...so he was 52 then. I had a few ex girlfriends that thought he was "sexy" too.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine last year at 62. I miss him so much. I know how you must feel. Happy Birthday to your dad. :woohoo:

From that beautiful marina photo you posted I could picture myself there with the gentle sound of the boats quietly shifting in their docks. I'm so excited for all my upcoming summer-beach activities. My father passed away also(in 2004).

It happens to all of us at some point. The real ****ty part is not being able to appreciate what you have, while you have it. Or being able to express your gratitude and love any more. Or just to get a hug, a phone call...any thing.

I lost my dad when I was 17 (I am 40 now) and it does get easier over time. You may never get over the loss of him during certain milestones in your life (marriage, childbirth, graduation, etc), but the pain does lessen over time. :xoxo:

Exactly...but it never goes away. Not really comforting is it? =)
