Middle-aged moms of Sioux Falls get ready to swoon. Lindsey Buckingham, the male heartthrob of dysfunctional ’70s pop rock act Fleetwood Mac, will be playing a solo concert at the Washington Pavilion on June 27.

Fargo concert promoter Jade Nielsen, who lists the Buckingham date on his Web site and his MySpace page, confirmed the date. Ticket prices will be announced later today.

Though his Fleetwood Mac bandmate Stevie Nicks got most of the diva talk during the band’s heyday, let’s hope this Sioux Falls date doesn’t bring out Buckingham’s temperamental diva side that compelled him to cancel a concert in Lincoln, Neb. But, to be honest, if Buckingham does an acoustic version – complete witih ohs and ahs – of “Big Love” before storming off stage I won’t really care.

This is so crazy. You know, I waited over 20 years as a fan before I got to see Fleetwood Mac for the first time in 1997, and I just counted the other day, if you add Fmac, Stevie solo, Lindsey solo, and Peter Green I'll have seen 86 concerts! That just boggles my mind. Doesnt seem like that many either.

It's really simple. WHen the music is this good, it's worth every penny.:thumbsup:
