Florence Henderson, actress, dies at 82
She was best known as playing 'Carol Brady' on the hit 1970s TV show, 'The Brady Bunch.'

She was a legend.
The main reason the Brady Bunch worked so well was because of the parents. Florence and Robert Reed were both established very serious actors. They carried the show. If simple actors were cast the show would not have lived on the way it does today. Their seriousness and experience grounded the show even though the scripts were a bit cheezy and sugar coated and the kids had little acting experience. Mom always says...don't play ball in the house! |
