It's hard to pick one song...I love all his stuff from Bare Trees so much!! I have YET to listen to Then Play On and I need to get the early FM stuff...but as of right now...my fave song of Danny's from FM is:

**Bare Trees - Talk about a catchy tune....and that riff!!

**Woman of a 1000 Years - I LOVE this song...the melody is GORGEOUS, and it is just so....AWESOME!! Soothing...mellow...

Definitely, my favorite Danny Kirwin song is "Dust." I love this song.

Christy I'm glad you discovered Danny Kirwan. He is one of my favorite FM members. I love his guitar playing and the melodies of his songs. Too bad we didn't get to hear more from him.

John, I LOVE the song...it's GORGEOUS!! I love the part that goes "...how are your sons of a time ago..." <--- AWESOME melody!! The whole dang song is just....beautiful!

I just thought of another song I am LOVING from Then Play On...Coming Your Way..OMG, that song is AWESOME!!!! :nod: Dragonfly ROCKS too!! :D

I LOVE Silver Streams, Skip a Dee Do, Caroline, Wings of a Dove, Misty Riva (HAHA) and Second Chapter the most from his solo stuff. :thumbsup:

Joe, I have John to thank for my newfound fandom. :thumbsup: He was a nice Ledgie and made me two tapes of DK's stuff!! I REALLY wish all of his solos were on CD tho. You are right in that there are many songs of his I love..Sunny Side of Heaven is GREATNESS too!

Why do you hate the song so much? I haven't heard it, but does it really suck THAT bad!!?? YIKES! :eek::confused: I am going to be getting the TPO with it on there, it was included in my lot of LP's I won on ebay...so I will soon find out how bad it really is. Bummer. :(

I like a lot of Danny's tunes, but my personal fav right now is "Loving Kind", from that live in Boston reissue. Great rhythms by Mick and some great guitar from Danny. I also like "Like Crying", "Something Inside Of Me", "Like It This Way". I guess I'm partial to the earlier stuff. :)

I like Sands Of Time best.
