I swore not to post here anymore but I am avoiding The Rumours forum. I am glad she is continuing to record and this song is SUPERB!!

MakerofBirds 06-13-2017 12:19 PM

This song is GORGEOUS! Thanks for the link!

God! This is gorgeous!!!

tothegypsy 06-13-2017 12:27 PM

I love this production style for her :)

JohnL 06-13-2017 12:46 PM

I had no idea this was even coming. I kind of liked the element of surprise...and boy was it worth it!!

OMG OMG!!! This is the emotion (and production) that makes her amazing. This is TOP NOTCH Stevie. The lyrics are focused and the rhyme scheme is in tact... the vocal is tender and strong. the strings and haunting music are just sublime. 5 stars!!!!

WOW!!!

That was exquisite! GOOSEBUMPS!!!

There doesn't seem to be much information about this song. It's not on iTunes yet. Does anyone know if she wrote it? Doesn't seem her style. I'm wondering if someone else wrote it and asked her to sing it...or it could be a "co-write".

Regardless, it's beautiful. I adore the string section at the end. And this is one of the films I've been looking forward to the most this year. I'm thrilled to hear her voice in a brand new song for a major motion picture! :blob2:

GORG!!! Whoever produced this should do her next solo album!

MakerofBirds 06-13-2017 01:03 PM

At the end of the video it says it was written and produced by Ryan Miller and Thomas Bartlett, but performed by Stevie. They must have written it with her in mind because some of these lyrics are so her.

"Drowned in a thought and caught in a stare
Talking to ghosts who were not there..."

Google gave me a result on Thomas Bartlett, who is a musician and goes by the name "The Doveman," which seems appropriate, if it's the right guy.

At the veeeerrry end of the video (around 3:46) there is a credit section that says: "Performed by Stevie Nick, written and produced by Ryan Miller and Thomas Bartlett".

Oops, sorry for the duplication.

Some Ledgie predicted we'd get a new SN song right after the B/N release. This is a great song and came to me completely unexpected.

Looks like it was written for a movie. LOVE THIS SONG!

24karatstevie 06-13-2017 01:35 PM

I love this! OMG this was such a nice little surprise! I hope this means more from her soon. I really want another solo album. Songs from the vault or new songs, I just need more Stevie!
