I like the camera angle for "Gypsy" as you get to see John play base for most of the video. I like to watch him play. And "Gypsy" sounds pretty good here, although to me the beautiful studio version can't be duplicated on stage - I like Mike's guitar playing at the end. I can also see why it replaced "Storms" (which I adore, but it is a slow burner) and "Gypsy" is more of a crowd pleaser. But, can't the band put "Hypnotized" back in the set? Or cut "Don't Dream, It's Over" instead? Thanks for posting the videos.

DDIO isn’t going anywhere. However, I wouldn’t mind Monday Morning or Second Hand News getting cut for Hypnotized.

Ok then if they don't cut Don't Dream Its Over then how about the other song from Fin. I am so glad I am not going to the concert because when I saw they were doing Hypnotized I had second thoughts. Now I truly have no regrets.
I take back my grade of B for the setlist and now it drops to C.
The casual fan audience is bored with Storms and Hypnotized which are favorites of us true at heart fans.

Hypnotized is one of those parts of the setlist which actually made this present band tolerable for me. It surely belongs in a Fleetwood Mac set more than Don’t Dream It’s Over, I Got You or Free Fallin’...or Go Insane or Stand Back for that matter.

From what I’ve heard, Hypnotized sounded fantastic. It still gets a moderate amount of airplay (especially on Sirius XM), and is a lot more interesting than Neil’s take on Monday Morning or Second Hand News.

Replacing it and Storms with Gypsy is so predictably Fleetwood Mac.

I don’t disagree. At all. But the reality is that DDIO is an iconic hit, and it’s probably the last song Neil sings that will get cut.

It was amazing. Glad I saw it. I also heard the original on Classic Vinyl on Wednesday.

That said, Neil does a great job on MM and SHN. I just don’t think they need both songs in the set (I prefer his take on MM over SHN, FWIW.)

It was the hit and is a bit more dynamic. Glad I saw Storms, since I skipped the 2009 tour.

I haven't been able to find one for this show yet.

It’s on setlist.fm

Sounding better and better with each show.

I wish they would lose MM and SHN.
Sounds like a lazy phoned-in retrospective attempt.

If you want those iconic Fleetwood Mac songs sung, they should be sung and played by Lindsey.
GYOW doesn’t matter because it’s always been a predictable set closer.

SteveMacD 10-21-2018 08:15 PM

Neale Heywood’s grin at the end of Gypsy was priceless!

ETA: I also noticed Ricky Peterson wasn’t playing much, so Christine appears to be playing more than many thought.

interesting choreography to have Mike come and play by Stevie at the end. Neil walked over towards Mike and it looked like he was wanting to jam with Mike but Mike was clearly focused on Stevie and Neil stepped away. Not in the script, dude.

Huh? If anything, Mike goes over to Neil at about 3:34. All Neil did after Mike came over was step away from the microphone, since he was done singing.

Does EVERYTHING have to be overly dramatic around here???

I dunno. I just made a comment about the end of a video. There were no screaming caps and multiple punctuation marks in my post.
