Whoops, I looked and didn't see any. Moderator can delete this thread if they so choose.

This thread would probably actually get it more views.

It is an interesting piece! I never knew about the phaser(?) used on the hi hat. Whoever made it respects the hell out of Lindsey, too.

I also believe it deserves its own thread. Someone sent this to me via email on Christmas eve. Pretty cool. The only thing they left out was the layering of Stevie's voice. It was something they copied from the Carpenters. Lindsey did create a masterpiece. Christine added dreamy keyboards, John's bass is the foundation of the song, and Mick's hi hat.

This was awesome!!! I remember in a recent interview Christine stating that the song was boring until they put the magic on it.

Some of the best songs have only 2 chords. This is one of my favorite songs. I don't need to hear it ever again, (live) however.

Richard posted on his previous page that the band wasn't all the keen about it when they first heard her play it but he felt it had a certain 'something' to it and encouraged them to work on it. Ken lays claim to the pre-chorus with the "heartbeat" "stillness" "lonely" backing bits.
