if I could I'd 'like' this a thousand times!:nod::nod:

Beautiful. I figured he could whisper since you don’t use your vocal chords for that.

But I don't claim to be an expert. I hope he is doing better. But he's been whispering on albums for years so this shouldn't hinder his ability to make new music. Seriously, I think that even if he can't tour, he would need to do publicity in conjunction with the release of BLUE LIGHT(?). And if he can't talk, he can't do publicity. It couldn't have happened at a worse time. People want to hear what he has to say and what he has to say in his art, in light of recent betrayals--and opportunity for a fresh start. That's why I think he needs to get BLUE LIGHT out NOW, no matter the cost, and then release an album absolutely tearing down the traitors, which hopefully he has been working on, as soon as he is physically able to record and tour. |

What a strange feeling. I am happy. I am sad. |

It has to be a true whisper where you are just blowing air through the larynx. He can’t do that .... horrible thing he likes to do on ballads, because that did involve his vocal chords.

think of it, he could have a pre-typed list of phrases off to one side, and then just cut and paste them as desired into his answers to whichever question. things like: 'circular', 'it was very organic', 'big machine, little machine', 'creative destiny', etc. Heck, we could make a pick-list for him and he wouldn't even have to do that part! |
Ok. I will start typing up all the compartmentalize answers for him.

I am distressed that Lindsey was buying bbq corn chips. That's not the kind of life I wanted for him.

Health problems aside. He's a man. He's a millionaire. He's had a great life. I'm sure he wants to stick around for his family, but we can't live in a bubble. Eat those chips, drink that drink you love, enjoy life. When the ride's over, it's over. Enjoy life while you can! |
Quote:
But you are right Homer.....life is so short, eat the bag full...but your ride maybe shorter.. |

I just want him to be happy. At least he got the old goat out of his life. That has to be a BIG jump start on Happy Happy Happy. |

Where were people making a big deal? On Twitter?
I was just kidding. I don’t care what he eats. But I do think getting a glimpse onto his Whole Foods shopping list is pretty funny. |

Let the man be happy. Maybe he's replacing his tour fever with some calories, so what? That doesn't mean he's eating them everyday. |

Let him live his life. He's truly better off without those scumbags. |

yes, you want to watch your diet when you are recovering from heart attack / open heart surgery, and yes it's very funny to see him in the store with the reputation of selling health food managing to find probably the least healthy thing you can find there. |

He's definitely better! I hope he feels that way too.:nod: |

I hope he feels that way, too. How could you not, being away from those TOXIC people? |

I really hope he recovers his voice. But assuming the worst and he does not, I’m betting he’d still be VERY creative and focus on instrumental work and music production. The man is a role model for creative people everywhere.

But wow, he has had quite an artistically gratifying / influential and highly lucrative career (the best of both worlds), even if he never sings again. I just desperately wish it had ended on a higher note, if it's indeed over. |

So what a low blow for the whole heart thing to have happened before he was able to make a strong musical counter statement to everything they did. |
I hope he's able to make a return. Forget FM. Lindsey is the creative force. Collaborations, producing other artists, anything he wants - ALL good.
|
Whether or not he can sing again, why hasn’t his new album come out? It’s been done for at least two years, now. Why did the label opt to release a comp over a new album? How much longer do we have to wait to hear new music from Lindsey, even if it’s determined he can’t tour it? He’s 70, isn’t time ticking away?
|
Lindsey said on his 2018 tour that the album would be released in 2019 in conjunction with a new tour but unfortunately he had his health issue and the brakes have been put on his plans. So................?

presumably he'd at least like to promote the album by doing interviews and such. Otherwise it'll just sink like a stone from public awareness. If he can't talk, it makes interviews harder, certainly for tv interviews. He can certainly do print interviews answering questions via email. I'd personally love if he'd do this anytime now, new album release or not. But I think he'd like to have something to talk about other than rehashing the whole FM sh*tshow. He would probably like to define himself by something other than that.
He's been working with a voice specialist so he may well have hopes of touring it at some point and wants to wait. Kristen's gone fairly silent about him on social media as far as I know, but I've been knee-deep in work and haven't followed much of anything on social media the last couple months or so. Maybe someone else knows if she's made any comments. |
If he doesn’t have his voice, I hope he still has his age-defying energy. I know that is something that probably had to be built back up over time and medication often causes fatigue. But I prize his vitality because some people are jealous of it and that gives me satisfaction.

I wonder how Lindsey is doing? We haven't heard anything in awhile.
