In the absence of anything happening on this forum, here are a few pics from the old Bob Weston site of the Weston/Welch era. Nothing that most probably haven't seen before but at least it is something that might start a conversation?

It's kind of interesting that back then, there was zero resemblance, but the photos of him that were taken around the time of the release of his There's A Heaven album, he more than eerily resembled a clean shaven Dave Mason (can't remember the last time I've seen a photo of Dave where he DIDN"T have at least a moustache). I guess I'm still on a roll from the "celeb lookalike" thread in the Chit-Chat Forum.

Not crazy at all. I was thinking the same thing. ;)

I've been saying this for years. I even told him so in his Q&A. I said something like "Bob, you were the best looking of all Mac guitarists." He said something like, "I know, those guys were ugly bastards."

You're right. That's very odd.

Yeah, that's what makes/made me a "Jealous Guy".:confused:

So I guess in a few years Bob Weston and Dave Mason will look like this? :lol:

My wife said something similar to Rick Vito in the relevant Q&A many years ago. He replied something to the effect of "I'm flattered and don't know what to say"!
