My problem with Dave Mason

My problem with Dave Mason is this, twenty five years between two concerts and he still does the song in exactly the same way. I have seven different versions of this song spanning 30 years and they all same the same.

It really doesn't hurt to change a song occasionally...

You can pretty much play these two videos as a duet in parts...

Yeah the only difference to me is that "trying to get along" line where in later years he felt he had to do that Pee Wee Herman/Louis Armstrong scat stuff during it which makes it worse as far as I'm concerned. If you're gonna make changes Dave (however small they might be) please make good ones. :)

Wow John you actually did find a difference between them, I'm impressed. I'm afraid I had fallen asleep by that stage of the song

Actually it is a shame that Dave keeps recycling his old hits because some of his lesser known stuff is actually ok.

Lets just hope he releases another album before I'm a grandfather (and I don't even have kids yet).

1) He just released one a couple of months ago, I think

2) I'm a grandfather without ever being a dad. One does NOT necessarily begat the other.

Yep my point exactly, what was it, 21 years between albums. I could really be a grandfather in 21 years...
