RIP Wendy Welch
 

According to Wendy's facebook page, she passed away early this morning. She loved Bob so deeply. My condolences to her family and friends.

That's very sad news. Do we know the cause?

Wow, this is shocking news. my condolences to her family and friend's.:angel:

Her last FB post was on June 3rd, mainly saying that she was having a more difficult time this year, dealing with missing Bob(that's what I take from it, anyway).

But on July 3rd, her friend posted that she'd been sick for a couple of months, and that they were taking care of her.

I didn't see any more "personal" posts after July 3rd.

RIP Wendy. If there is a heaven, I know that you're finally reunited with Bob.

This was on FB. With great sadness I must report to you all today that Our beloved Wendy Welch passed away in her sleep early this morning before sunrise. She battled failing health for a long time. Now weary of the fight she has gone home to be with her beloved husband Bob. I am very sad, and I can only say that I am happy that her suffering is over.

Nice to know she died peacefully in her sleep. She lost her world when Bob went. RIP

The real hall of fame isn't limited by any city limits, Bob and his songs about Wendy are in all of ours.

This is very sad news. She was in a lot of pain when Bob died and when she tried unsuccessfully to get him retroactively inducted into the Hall of Fame. Her hurt often made her lash out in irrational ways, but that is what deep hurt does.

I was hoping she would live to see a brighter path for herself and for Bob's legacy.
