New Green-era tape surfaces!

Check out dimeadozen.org for a, possibly, previously not surfaced
recording of Fleetwwod Mac at Municipal Auditorium, San Antonio, Texas December 12, 1969.
Haven't listened yet, but it's the real deal.

I know Peter Green made several trips to Isreal, as a commune worker in a Kabbutz, as a performer, with KOLORS, and as a seeker. Has any recordings surfaced out there. I remember a previous thread about this jam with a hithero to unknown guitar player that we goyem were having trouble deciphering the hebrew. Were there any others ?( I still have never heard that one)

Estranged4life - allow me to fill in the blanks in the setlist:
5 - Only You
11 - Worried Dream
13 - World In Harmony

The Böblingen tape is not new in complete form, I think.
Great show, so-so sound.
As for the Israel session, I did get a copy from our friend Daniel,
but I wouldn't trade it without his permission.
Or post it online - people sell stuff on eBay they have no right to sell.
No-one even know the correct year or if it's really Peter.
I would say 98% it's Peter, though, or an amazing copycat.

Hi.
Can anyone put up a link of what I need to download to be able to open these? I'm kind of new to this, so Im obviously not doing something right or I dont have the proper material I need.

I signed up for dimeadozen, but everything Im trying to open says my computer doesn't recognize the file and cannot open it.
Again, sorry to ask. Im just new to all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My copy of this show has the following tracks. I'm curious about comparing.
Tracks:
Disc 1:
01. Black Magic Woman
02. Before The Beginning
03. Like it This Way
04. Only You
05. Madison Blues
06. Rattlesnake Shake – Searching For Madge

Disc 2:
01. Got To Move
02. Worried Dream
03. World In Harmony
04. Can’t Hold Out
05. Oh Well
06. Coming Your Way

sharksfan2000 08-23-2008 01:14 AM

Wouter, there have been both versions of this show around for a number of years. It's definitely the same show, just re-arranged and with one or more different tracks on each version. The one you list includes "Oh Well", which the other one does not include.

Sorry got no link in memory. I guess you must have the bittorrent client, but there are a number to check out. "Trader's little helper" (freeware) does the trick when it comes to extracting flac/shn-files. (maybe "VLC plays flac?)I also believe there's an old thread somewhere here covering the topic.

Btw, I started to restore the Böblingen show mentioned some days ago, wow, Mac's playing is really hot...!!!

Yes, a VCL player (freeware also) plays Flac files.
Trader's little helper has all you need.

Thanks for all the help!
Downloaded traders little helper and still cant open this. Wish I could just find a link to this where it was as easy as clicking on and opening the file- like on Wolfgangs Vault. Does all of this really have to be this complicated, or am I just missing something? Thanks again though- for the help. Hopefully Ill get to hear these some day.

If you have downloaded the actual Flac files from dimeadozen and have the folder containing the files on your desktop, do this:
- Open Trader's little helper
- Chose "Decode audio files" window
- "Add" the flac files from the F Mac folder, then press "Decode"
- The flac files now get converted to wav files - open the F Mac folder and check.
