Kate Bush

I recently purchased "The Kick Inside" and of course, I am listening to "Wuthering Heights".

Is any of her other albums good? Also, is her voice normally high-pitched?

Might want to check out "Hounds of Love". And yes, sometimes she does ...hit those high notes.... hehe

The Red Shoes is great too. Hounds of Love & Red Shoes are my two favorite Kate Bush discs.

Her voice gets alot better later. I love the Dreaming, Hounds of Love and The Sensual World.

I actually am not a huge fan of the Kick Inside. I really start loving the music by the Dreaming, her " mad album".

I got into Kate Bush over a year ago and I'm just sooooo into her. I want a new album so bad. It would be so cool if she put one out so I'd get one from her, Christine AND Agnetha! Ladies rock!

Get Hounds of Love first. Then get Sensual World. Then get the Dreaming. Then get Lionheart and Never Forever...then get the Red Shoes last because by then she's different and so much more mature. That album is good but it's a different Kate.

You just have to get ALL of them and listen alot. The more you listen, the more you'll love.

BTW, Kate redid Wuthering Heights for her Whole Story Greatest Hits cd. It's FAR superior and her voice is much more tolerable. She has a fantastic voice but at 18 it hadn't quite matured. I think smoking cigs for 20 years ( she's quit now) made her voice BETTER/DEEPER.

My only real exposure to her music was in seeing "She's Having A Baby".
