Sixty views of this thread and no-one has any comments to make?

My comment is either the audio track is out of time with the video track or Jeremy is lip-synching!

Well, here's my comment.
Im amazed you found these.
I'm even more amazed that they exist.
I'm reluctant to comment, having read the comments at youtube.
Call me wishywashy (got the term from Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz when some characters characterize Charly Brown, but it somehow applies to me as well:nod:)

I must have missed the YouTube comments.

Whether or not you believe what is said about The Family/Children of God and Jeremy as a member of that organisation (and we know Jeremy is on record as denying allegations made against him), the man is a brilliant musical talent. These clips are certainly not JS at his best, but they are interesting viewing.

My comment:
That Fogarty guy sure has some creepy eyes!

Here are a couple of more videos from that era, credited to Rock'n Reggie.

That's better. The first song is the Elvis tune Hard Headed Woman, though (a true women's lib anthem).

I'll make a comment: there is NO indication on any of these three clips that the folksy religious singer who speaks of prodigal sons and looks sheepishly into the camera was once a bawdy blues belter and perhaps the most sympathetic interpreter of Elmore James songs.

Wow.

Simply wow.

Now THESE clips from 1981 in Greece are more in line with what I expected to see from Jeremy. His ability to parody the sun sound of the late 50s was still very much intact. And the second link--the one where he performs before screaming women--is hilarious.
