Where is Ohio? Uggg!

APerfectLie 09-05-2016 09:55 PM

I wonder how insane these VIP tickets are going to be! And I hate AMEX presales! The only time I would ever wish to have an AMEX is for them but alas, I do not.

Jondalar 09-05-2016 10:01 PM

A few dates in Canada. I know a few Ledgies will be happy.

rockalilcutie25 09-05-2016 10:09 PM

I'm the same, where's Ohio!!! Guess I'll have 2 do Detroit. Am I the only one surprised at the size of the venues? Her last Detroit show In your dreams was at Fox Theatre holds 5000, great show. Auburn Hills 25000....

Jondalar 09-05-2016 10:20 PM

I'm stunned she is not coming to Columbus, Ohio. They have always done well here.

I'm glad that she's getting out but I will go to the Nov 25th Black Friday Mohegan Sun show only since this is an winter tour WHICH I HATE.Also not happy with another team up with another artist or band and a digest setlist .I do like the Pretenders though. So I hope the show starts early and not the 8:20 BS.Anyway this brings my spirits up after loosing my cat Buttons which I miss dearly.

Christie Hynde's tour dates and these don't jibe. Plus the venues are way too big.

Pretenders vocalist Chrissie Hynde announces solo North American tour dates

If you haven’t thought about Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde in a while, now would be a good time to get reacquainted. The 62-year-old rock goddess issued a critically-acclaimed solo album earlier this summer, and now she has announced a 25-date theater tour in support of the record.

The trek begins on October 30 in Toronto. Noteworthy venues on the six-week tour include the Chicago Theatre, New York’s Beacon Theater, and the Masonic in San Francisco. Hynde’s final scheduled date is December 6 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Fans can register now for a ticket presale. During the upcoming tour, Hynde has promised to perform tracks from the new record, as well as classic Pretenders material.

In June, Hynde released Stockholm, the first solo album of her nearly 40-year career. The record received solid reviews and debuted at No. 36 on Billboard. Guests performers on Stockholm range from Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Young to former tennis player John McEnroe, who contributes electric guitar.

Hynde has promoted the album with appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “The Colbert Report.” On “Colbert,” she engaged in witty banter with the host, who jokingly asked her why she had “rejected Lady Liberty” to live in England. “I’ve got my band there, and I go where the music is,” she replied, smiling. “Sort of ‘have band, will travel.’ I’m a citizen of the world. I’m a hippie, man.”

Stockholm features the lead single “Dark Sunglasses,” a polished bundle of rock energy. The track is accented by clattering percussion, a trademark of the song’s co-writer, Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John.

The menu to the other pages is on the tour dates page. It looks like they didn't finish in time. Some of the page template elements are still there...or maybe this is Stevie's new car?

Sad no Oklahoma City but your car comment made me chuckle.

I just realized I'm not going to get to see her. She skipped Ohio and everything else is too far away. Hell she skipped Indiana, Kentucky, and a West Virginia... Not traveling to Michigan in Winter.
