jadegypsy 07-18-2004 07:58 PM

Oh, Daddy is my vote.

rezamatic 07-18-2004 08:02 PM

SWEET I love it :-D

Can we do "Rumours" Mole next? One of these songs is a traitor, a saboteur...a MOLE... :D You know it'd be "I Don't Wanna Know" if it were! Okay, anyways...

"Oh Daddy" gets my vote. I can't walk away from you baby if I tried, but you can walk away from this game, baby if I try...

Hawkeye 07-18-2004 08:03 PM

I Don't Want is my only easy choice, then it gets harder  I agree with the NOOOO to voting out Oh Daddy

AND... Why isn't Silver Springs on this list. I'm close to protesting if it isn't allowed to participate in the rumours album

tynan88 07-18-2004 08:22 PM

Songbird :sorry: It has never done it for me.

O Crap your right I forgot that song! I'll put it in now!

GypsySorcerer 07-18-2004 08:37 PM

I used to hate Oh Daddy, but I'm really into it now....

I'll go with I Don't Want to Know. I like it, but it's fairly disposable.

HomerMcvie 07-18-2004 08:45 PM

Dreams has gone from being one of the best, to the most worn out.
I vote Dreams.

BrokenWing 07-18-2004 09:07 PM

My vote goes to I Don't Want To Know. It's the only song on the album that I really can take or leave.

Interesting that so many people seem to share this opinion. I wonder what it is about that song that makes it stick out from the rest.

Seriously that's really not it, although is play a small part in it for me, but very SMALL. Overall it's just the only song I don't care for.

Nightbird_Brett 07-18-2004 09:15 PM

While I'll probably be stoned for this, my vote goes to "Don't Stop." I still love it, but it just doesn't compare to the others for me.

BrokenWing 07-18-2004 09:17 PM

Hmm, the Silver Springs debacle never even crossed my mind, although I can't understand for the life of me why the band chose IDWTK over Silver Springs. I can't speak for others, but I've thought of IDWTK as the album's one weak spot since long before I ever heard about it replacing Silver Springs. I'm just intrigued that, while opinions about the other albums seem to differ wildly from user to user, so many other people seem to agree that the rest of Rumours rocks while IDWTK is disposable.

dissention 07-18-2004 09:29 PM

I've changed my vote to I Don't Wanna Know. I just listened to Rumours and it is the weakest song.

golden braid 07-18-2004 09:34 PM

I Don't Wanna Know

Cristian 07-18-2004 09:52 PM

"Silver Springs".

"You don't belong here..."

golddustwoman77 07-18-2004 10:00 PM

"Don't Stop"

I guess I have overplayed it, because I usually skip it now.

SaraRhiannon 07-18-2004 10:03 PM

Don't Stop.

Wild_Heart03 07-19-2004 01:02 AM

Oh Daddy haaas to stay around a bit. Best song ever, etc.

I'm saving I Don't Want To Know for the next round.

Hippocampus 07-19-2004 05:43 AM

I don't get it. Rumours was the first FM album I ever owned back in high school, and before I knew anything about the band, and especially before I knew that IDWTK replaced Silver Springs, it was my favorite song, and to this day it remains as one of my favorite FM songs of all time. I think it's a fun, whimsical song with great harmonies, even though Stevie recorded it "with a gun to (her) head." It's obvious that the song won't last long past the first few rounds of this game (if even the first round), but I have to take this opportunity to express my dissent and defend the song. Are there any other kindrid spirits out there, or am I completely alone in my assertion?

My vote is for Don't Stop.

TISL 07-19-2004 10:20 AM

My vote: Oh Daddy

Lala 07-19-2004 10:32 AM

SAVE I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

Common people. This song has killer harmony.

I vote for Oh Daddy.

DrummerDeanna 07-19-2004 10:39 AM

My vote goes to Oh Daddy...my least favorite FM song...ever.

wondergirl9847 07-19-2004 11:12 AM

My vote...

YMLF....just because it's always been a tad bit blah for me. :sorry:

golddustwoman77 07-19-2004 11:18 AM

I agree with Lala and Mirror in the Sky! :xoxo: "I Don't Want to Know" was my favorite song when I was younger, and it is still one of my favorites! I love the upbeatness, the amazing harmonies, and it's just so darn catchy.

Patti 07-19-2004 11:29 AM

I Don't Want to Know. The weakest song on Rumours, IMO.

Yes! It's got such great harmonies, and it's so upbeat. It's also the first guitar solo I ever learned to play. :woohoo:

I love IDWTK, too. And I vote for Don't Stop (or as I call it: "Aaaaaaahhhhh!!! Skip, Skip!!! Turn it! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!) :)

That doesn't mean it's a great song. ;)

IDWTK is good, but it's crap when you put it next to the rest of the album.

Uh, YES, that's exactly what it means. Philistine! :wavey: That is also what the fast, even, drums and kickin' little baseline mean - that it is, in fact, a great song! Tadaaa!
Amber

GypsySorcerer 07-19-2004 12:28 PM

What is with all the Oh Daddy haters? That song is greatness. :)
