New Cyndi Lauper, Donna Summer CDs...

What does everyone think?

Right now, I'm leaning more toward Cyndi's album, Bring Ya to the Brink, which is all dance music. She's still distinctive.

I wish she didn't have to swear on the single ("Same Old F****** Story"). I don't like any of the remixes either.

I have only listened to Donna's album few times. The first single, Stamp Your Feet, is very catchy.

Well truthfully neither one interests me at all anymore but I must say there has been an awful lot of press for Cyndi lately. I just figured she was touring and Donna, I haven't heard a thing about her in years. I wish them both the best of luck though. Maybe Cyndi is about to have a big resergence in her career.

Just like last year, Cyndi is the headliner for the True Colors tour which benefits PFLAG, HRC and other organizations.

It kicks off in Boston this month with the B-52's, Rosie O'Donnell, and others. Appearing at various shows are Wanda Sykes, Tegan and Sara, Regina Spektor, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Sarah McLachlan, Joan Armatrading, Indigo Girls, Nona Hendryx, Deborah Cox, The Cliks, Andy Bell, The Puppini Sisters and Kat DeLuna.

Donna's album is her first of original material in 17 years. The album was teased several months ago with I'm a Fire, which went to no. 1 on the Billboard dance chart.
