My Little Demon

Has anyone noticed on The Dance video during Lindsey's intro to My Little Demon he's talking about fighting for the right choice or something and the camera flashes over to Stevie and Christine and Christine just gives him a smug smile and head nod while Stevie just slowly walks toward him with her head slightly down but with her eyes looking up(that "I'm gonna slap the **** outta you"look)? He seems to be talking to Chris through most of the intro. Also in the beginning of the MLD intro,Mick starts playing around using his sticks as horns and Lindsey says"I was talking about my demons, not yours" and Mick stopped his silliness immediately, the smile left his face, and he turned away from Lindsey.Any thoughts on this?If only we knew what was going on-until then,we can only speculate:shrug:.Just curious about everyone's opinion or insight. Thanks alot all...

They repeated the thing with Mick "my demons not yours" several times throughout the tour, when Lindsey introduced the song, so they obviously thought it was amusing and made it more of their script.

This, I definitely noticed. It's like she's wondering how far he's going to go as far as an explanation- and it's making her uncomfortable. It seems as if each knew the other was thinking about the same thing.

I think he kind of looks and talks to Chris during things like this (where he's not comfortable speaking in public) because she's comforting and safe to him- unlike Stevie.

 I bet that's the first time she's ever been called comforting & safe!

So true, touche!

I noticed. I just thought they were bored. And then Christine is like "sarcastically Yeah, ok. Can we get on with the song now?"

I doubt his speech was spontaneous. I'm sure they all knew what he was going to say.

Interesting.. that reminded me of an article where they were discussing editing the Dance tapes-

Resentments and bruised egos delayed healing for years. On a recent afternoon at Nicks' home overlooking the ocean, she and Buckingham settled at opposite ends of a plush green velvet couch to reminisce warmly. Only once did they engage in playful bickering, as they discussed editing the Dance tapes-

He: "Too much talking, right?"

She: "Too much talking."

He: "What would you take out? There's too much of me, obviously."

She: "Well, I didn't think there was too much of me, because I didn't talk."

He: "No you didn't, so somebody had to. Should we take out my talking bits?"

She: "It doesn't matter to me. Whatever you want is fine."

He: "Well, call me later."

She: "Well, you're here now."

He: "But this isn't interview material."

Such banter constitutes an amazing breakthrough for a sexy rock dyad that devolved into a fuming feud.

I say always let Lindsey talk! I personally love analyzing every little detail he's willing to give us.

I agree with Stevie. Lindsey needs to shut up a little of shows.

I don't like hearing Christine much either. Probably because she was wasted.

"Well we haven't played anything from the Tusk album so, we'll try some out tonight for you.. etc...........

Stevie didn't REALLY say someone talks too much, did she? She's usually Queen of the Chatterboxes..Also I didn't notice Christine was was wasted-I thought that was just her being her.

Don't think she was wasted for the Dance. I think the referral was to old tapes from the 70s and 80s.

I noticed Chris' forced smile when Lindsey is wittering on about "the positive choice". I think she just hates anything she thinks sounds pretentious or convoluted. Amen to that.

Incidentally, on the most recent tour, I thought Lindsey's speeches were longer than normal. I might be wrong. Of course Stevie's Without You one was the longest...

Was referring to the Live Album, released in 1980,
