OK... the cat's out of the bag and new roster is public..
They are generating this world-wide (yes, even mention made on that fake-news CNN)
How soon before they roll out the cash register and expect us to get in line?

I'm expecting tour dates etc. in next few days

any other speculations ?

bwboy 04-10-2018 06:32 AM

The tour is supposed to start in June, only a month and a half away!

kathy1 04-10-2018 06:34 AM

hope we get dates soon

SpyNote 04-10-2018 11:18 AM

I'm guessing they're ready to roll, but had to put everything on hold because of all the drama. I'd expect another announcement soon.

Lindsey Buckingham Will Not Tour With Fleetwood Mac This Fall
"The band wishes Lindsey all the best."
Longtime Fleetwood Mac guitarist and rock icon in his own right Lindsey Buckingham will not join the band on its forthcoming fall tour.

Amidst reports that Buckingham had officially left the band, on Monday (April 9), the group issued a statement announcing, simply, "Lindsey Buckingham will not be performing with the band on this tour. The band wishes Lindsey all the best." There was no comment regarding his future plans with the group.

Fleetwood Mac also announced that, instead, the band will will be joined by Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and Neil Finn of Crowded House on tour.

Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975 when he and his then-girlfriend Stevie Nicks -- who had been playing as a duo -- were recruited by Mick Fleetwood and the rest of the group. He played with the band until 1987 and then returned in 1997. Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Over the years, Buckingham released six solo albums and last year duetted with Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac on Lindsey Buckingham Christine McVie, which also featured the band's Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.

The Fall? Interesting - thank you for posting this. Maybe there will be a new album after all. Joking!

Oh, I'm sure it was a bitter, nasty fight. That send-off reminds me of the Greatest Hits liner notes from 1988. It said something like, All our love to Lindsey, and nothing more.

You know it was bad. :distress: I just hope people aren't taking this opportunity to post nasty things on Lindsey's daughter's social media accounts. That's not cool. He was and always will be an integral part of FM and that late 70's California sound. I joked around a lot on the other thread but truly I'm shocked by this. I never thought something like this would happen this late in the game.

Seriously I never saw this coming so there could indeed be new music.

I have read you enough to know you were joking. But there is some nasty vitriol on The Ledge, and most of it is at Stevie and Lindsey. Lindsey has children, Stevie has a niece and many godchildren. The internet is a pretty nasty place. I agree, Lindsey missing either by quitting or by being fired is a shock. I hope cooler minds can come together.

There was one lone date in December in Las Vegas posted in the last couple of months. I can't recall where but someone shared it. I don't know if it's still out there.

I feel like I've hung in though some of the worst Stevie vitriol bordering on misogyny really that I've ever seen on this board so I just wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine. And try to break up the tension... We've been thrown quite a curveball here.
Also it's nice to see (read) folks who haven't been around for a long while.

Yep. I get it. Totally.
