JazzFest Setlist and videos

Here's tonight's set list:
1) Outside the rain
2) Dreams
3) If Anyone Falls
4) Enchanted
5) Wild Heart
6) SDMHA
7) Rhiannon
8) Gypsy
9) Bella Donna
10) Landslide (dedicated to Taylor Hawkins)
11) Gold Dust Woman
12) Stand Back
13) Free Fallin'
14) Edge of 17
15) New Orleans
16) Rock n Roll
The only video so far on Youtube (Outside/Dreams): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs1QFyS9FBI
Hopefully more will be posted soon. The only thing I find interesting with the setlist is that it appears she performed Bella Donna and Wild Heart separately instead of as a medley. I like the long curly hair and it seems she's singing on par with her last live shows. I'm not thrilled with setlist or current sound but I guess I'm happy she's not wearing the sailor coat. It's the little things , lol. :D Oh, and these aviators are slightly less bothersome than other pairs I've seen her wear. :sorry:
Also, I wasn't there...I copied the setlist from setlist.fm in case there's any mistakes.

Loved seeing the videos from today. And love her hair!

Kind of a boring set list but makes sense for the festival circuit, most people there are casual fans and won’t want to sit through new or obscure stuff.

The combo of the messy hair/red backdrop/chill festival vibe really reminds me of her at Woodstock 98, which is still one of my favorite shows to put on while doing housework :)

Also awesome to see Benmont back with her for these shows. Seems like Stevie doesn’t wanna go anywhere now without an Emotional Support Heartbreaker lol.

She looks fab, different hairstyle and wow wow…not totally black outfit.
Love the jacket and waistcoat (is it ?)

But I do wish she wouldn’t shout it makes her voice so harsh.
Having said that…
She sounded good, she needs a different voice coach and she’d sound great.

Can’t wait to see other vids.

All of the high notes now gone from Dreams (not the really high falsetto-ish notes she hasn't sang in decades). It really flattens the melody and effect overall! IMO she should really considering transposing some songs.

You don't think Show Them The Way would've had the place hopping?

Yasgur Farm was amazing. Whole Lotta Trouble, Twisted, Garbo, Sleeping Angel.

I wonder why she doesn't just throw Rooms on Fire, Talk To Me, I Can't Wait, Whole Lotta Trouble, and Blue Denim in this festival set and make it a true classics set.

She was in the hospital with double pneumonia after the rock and roll half of fame induction a few years back. I wonder if what we’re seeing on Dreams is a result of those health issues or she’s rusty from not being on the road for three years.

16 songs....I'm impressed and I am not being sarcastic. I would have guessed 13 at the most. If she really performed Wild Heart and Bella Donna separately, that's really cool.

My thoughts:

- She’s in her 70s, so however she sounds on Dreams is probably due to that rather than pneumonia from years ago.

- Rooms on Fire, I Can’t Wait, Talk to Me, etc would have been preferable to Gypsy, Gold Dust Woman, and Rock and Roll.

- I doubt Wild Heart and Bella Donna were performed separately; more likely she didn’t do her big talk about each of them like she did on her last solo tour, and they probably just blended into each other like Outside the Rain and Dreams.

- I would say this set list likely won’t change for her next few gigs this year, and if they do, it’ll probably be a slightly shorter set.

But not Free Fallin'?

I don't get the Wild Heart and Bella Donna sampling. Play the whole songs.

I agree! I don't think she could pull off Wild Heart with as much gusto as that song would need but I bet she could do Bella Donna.
