Mick - Meet & Greets

http://www.mickfleetwoodofficial.com/events

WildHearted 12-14-2012 01:11 PM

There's not one for the venue I'm going to, but it looks like it's the same deal everywhere that it's offered:

for $425
Ticket in the First 5 Rows
VIP Entry to Venue
VIP Host for the Evening
Meet & Greet with Mick Fleetwood
VIP Q&A with Mick Fleetwood onstage at his Drum Kit
Personal Photo with Mick Fleetwood
Mick Fleetwood VIP Laminate

For $375

Ticket in the First 20 Rows
VIP Entry to Venue
VIP Host for the Evening
Meet & Greet with Mick Fleetwood
VIP Q&A with Mick Fleetwood onstage at his Drum Kit
Personal Photo with Mick Fleetwood
Mick Fleetwood VIP Laminate

Honestly, I'd pay for that. It's worth it just for the seats - none the less all of the other stuff. The same (if not better) price you'd pay for good seats from a broker, and MUCH cheaper than the damn ticketmaster platinum seats.

KindOfWoman90 12-14-2012 01:18 PM

the only one that looks available right now is D.C. and one in CA - but definitely worth it, if you can swing it. do you think the others have already been sold, or that they haven't made them available yet... i mean, this is the first i've heard about meet & greets. i'd go to D.C. if my flight back to the UK wasn't the day after... ugh.

There's also one for Little Rock, AR.

I was wondering the same thing. Like maybe at one point each venue had the option but someone already grabbed it up. Or maybe only certain venus will let you have those? Kind of like how there were Meet & Greets for some (but not all) of Lindsey's OMS stops.

I hope this becomes available for more dates.

Edit: They just added another - Tulsa, OK. Hopefully this means more to come.

olive 12-14-2012 01:58 PM

the cheapest way to get a good seat is to pay to meet mick , you'd think this would be included in the 1200 -2500 seat with all 4 and a phone call from Christine.

WelshWitchPMD 12-14-2012 02:00 PM

I would do this for Mohegan Sun without a doubt! I really wish Lindsey would do this!

Isn't it ironic?

It's almost like they think it's a trade-off or something.

Like... Now offering a good seats for cheaper prices! But here's the catch - you have to meet Mick, ask him some questions, and take a picture with him.

redtulip 12-14-2012 02:18 PM

The St. Paul show isn't even listed on Mick's site or the Fleetwood Mac site so I guess we won't get these. WTF?

Haha I know right! Well, what I do like about this is that those less dedicated won't know about his website, etc. But yeah, the logic is bit odd :p This is a continual problem, we keep thinking FM functions in a rational way... :xoxo: I'd love to meet Mick, hope more of these VIP options pop up :)

WildHearted 12-14-2012 02:25 PM

So far VIP is available for the following dates:

Washington, DC
Tulsa, OK
Little Rock, AR
San Jose, CA
Detroit, MI
Houston, TX

Crossing my fingers for Atlanta because I'm definitely jumping on this if it's possible.

Is there a list somewhere of what cities will have these?

That's just a list of all the dates minus St Paul for some reason. Do you know for sure they will all have them?

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but they've been adding more and more dates all day. It's looking like it's going to be for all of them.

They just added the date in Calgary.

redtulip 12-14-2012 03:12 PM

My concern is that it appears all the shows are listed except St Paul. It's the same on the Fleetwood Mac web page. I guess it just got left off, but it makes me nervous because I want to jump on these if they do come up. I guess no one can though since it's not even on there.

Hilarious. Oh the sacrifices we must make. It almost makes me want to do San Jose.

Michele

michelej1 12-14-2012 03:48 PM

This is wonderful. You can buy a single seat and they tell you your seat and row before purchase. With the Unleashed tour you had to wait to find out what you got. Tremendous.

It really is awesome.

I'm holding out for Atlanta.

I love this option. Hopefully they add St. Paul to the list with the VIPs! So weird that it was left out of the schedule.

FMlex 12-14-2012 04:17 PM

This is great!

Just got my two tickets. Row 1 on Lindsey's side of the stage. :]

I agree -- it's worth it to buy through a safe site for this fixed price than to worry about brokers. Woohooo!

olive 12-14-2012 04:25 PM

I was just reading on Facebook the Fleetwood Mac news and reviews page, they're saying it's a scam....... after all it is Mick Fleetwood and the tickets are a lot less cheaper than they're selling them on their own Ticketmaster site

What? Sources? It's from MickFleetwoodOfficial.com... a scam, really?

WildHearted 12-14-2012 04:32 PM

The official Fleetwood Mac facebook page posted it on FB and it's from MickFleetwoodOfficial... I don't see how it could be a scam.

The tickets aren't cheaper at all... Yeah, they're cheaper than then "platinum" seats but those are just random seats that Ticketmaster has pulled and claimed as "premium" and are trying to charge extra for - those prices aren't true of ALL of the seats in those sections.

People were afraid to proceed because they received a message that the site could harm their computer. Mick's website is run by ground(ctrl) per their management - ie: Santuary/Azoff/Frontline. It's legitimate, but whenever they published the site something wasn't done properly with the certificate for the site. That's as much "code" or "geek" that I speak. It's perfectly safe though, I'm sure.

olive 12-14-2012 04:33 PM

Did you read the whole post. it says exactly where I read it. I'm just passing this along

No it's not a scam -- spam would have been more appropriate a word to use. No need to get everybody worked up. It's not scam either.

ground(ctrl) runs Mick's site, same as Lindsey's, same as FM's.

He isn't selling tickets a lot less than the FACE value.

Whether or not people feel MICK is running a scam -- well, now that's an entirely different subject. LOL.

Okay, you just calmed me down. I was on the verge of freaking out there for a second!

Yeah, I noticed GroundCTRL will be what appears on your credit card statement for the purchase of the VIP stuff.

Cool. Thanks for the info.

Hoping I get the chance in ATL.

All the California shows are on sale. Hollywood Bowl is 4th row and I did not take that, but I took others.

Mick, I love you and your management. You have always been my favorite. Stevie and Lindsey have no talent. I don't know why you made that call on New Year's Eve. Michele

:xoxo: drummer

Columbus has flr 2 row B, which is fabulous. Love that single seats are available as I think I am flying solo if I go.

I think I'm going to have to fly solo, too, considering I can't afford 2 of these tickets and don't know anyone IRL who would be willing to spend that much.

Kind of nervous about it because I've never been to a concert by myself but I guess I've gotta grow up at some point
