First full trailer with very short Stevie clips :

Will there be an abridged version where I can just see Stevie's parts? :) He was a real sob to Patty Griffin, whose music I adore, so I"m not a big fan.

I watched last night. I'm not big on Dr. Dre, so I fast forward through most of his stuff, but Jimmy's story is pretty interesting. They focused most of episode 2 on him and Stevie. I think Stevie was one of Jimmy's first big love's. They don't talk about any big girlfriends before her. And he said after they broke up he was depressed until he met his first wife Vickie. There was a lot of great video and photos from last night. I loved the video from the Stop Dragging my heart around video. We even heard a little piano of Stevie singing Bella Donna. I wish they would have done more with Jimmy and Stevie, but I know it's not all about them. LOL

I liked the bit where JI was getting on the girls for being a team of lawyers. Panic City haha. Neat to get a little insight into that dynamic.

on a somewhat more serious note, her entourage seems to have been the sticking point to so many of her relationships.... there are all these people around her who just chime in and give her all sorts of opinions and feedback about every little decision and she lets them.... and it was really interesting to see how that impacted her relationship with Jimmy personally and professionally. And to hear Tom's take on it as well... "there were always all these people around her and I could never really figure out what their jobs were.... gypsy girls" |
Thank you so much for sharing that piece from the show. I really enjoyed seeing some of that studio work!
