The Tour

hey i was just thinking that on the next tour (if it ever happens) what do you think they're gonna do about piano/keyboards considering their important part on so many songs. do you think the band will hire some one new (god i hope not) or do you think they'd have stevie play (that would be cool). cause if they for example doe SARA (holding breath, fingers crossed..ect) i would love to actually see stevie play it on stage.

piano/keyboards

I don't think Stevie is accomplished enough at the pinao/keyboards to play the entire show. It would be nice to see her play on a number or two....like Rhiannon.

Most likely the band will "hire" someone to fill in for Christine on the tour. Probably someone like Brett Tuggle.

Steve Thoma played keyboards on the '95 Time tour (and did a wonderful job I must say). It's a possibility that he play. Aa I recall, he also provided Christine's high harmonies on some songs in falsetto (also quite good). Stevie's not gonna play keyboards on the tour. If she plays Rhiannon, I'll be very surprised.

Eh, I won't miss it.

I kinda hope Rhiannon isn't done at all, unless she lets loose but I don't see THAT happening. :distress: As much as I LOVE the song, hearing it done with the piano or down-tempo, it's just got no oomph. Sorry.

Rhiannon

Brain don't be suprised if Stevie plays Rhiannon at the piano...it's going to be a different Fleetwood Mac tour this time...none like any of us have ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised to see ANYTHING on this tour!

Christy I'm sorry you feel like that about Rhiannon. Any way Stevie does that song wouldn't matter to me. I love that song, and to see her at the piano doing it would be a highlight of the concert for me. Don't look for the ooomph on Rhiannon anymore...at least not the oooompph we used to see. It'd be kind of like Evil Knievel trying to jump the Grand Canyon again!

One requirement...

As long as Lindsey plays "I'm So Afraid" I'll be happy. The rest is just gravy. :-)

AMEN, HALLELUJAH, and CAN I GET A WITNESS!!! :blob1::blob2::blob1::blob2:

I do LOVE Rhiannon, but if it's not played, I won't be really upset, ya know.

My educated guess is that it'll be the same cast of characters as "The Dance" tour, minus Christine...in other words, the same troupe that played at Clinton's farewell shindig at the White House in January 2001.

Mick, John, Stevie, Lindsey, plus:

Lenny Castro
Brett Tuggle
Neale Haywood
Mindy Stein
and Stevie's shadow, Sharon Celani.

I'm getting sick of Mindy Stein, Steve. I hope they leave her at home. Plus, I just bit the edge of my tongue & it is bleeding all over my watermelon.
