Poor Little Baby
 

This kind of thing, among others, would make it hard for me to want to be a cop...

A toddler is reportedly OK after spending the night in a flooded bath with her mother's corpse. Neighbors called the duplex manager to say that they could hear running water and a baby crying from the Spokane Valley home.

The manager called police when the resident didn't come to the door. Officers found the 44-year-old woman and her 14-month-old daughter in the half-filled bathtub with cold water flowing from the shower.

Police say the girl was hungry but appeared to be physically unharmed. She is in protective custody.

It wasn't immediately clear how the mother died. An autopsy was planned.

My first thought was heart attack. poor baby. where's the dad?

That baby at least won't have that memory. He/She won't remember what happened...so sad.

That is just heartbreaking. Sure the child won't remember....just she doesn't have a mother now.
