The performances are nice, but they have absolutely nothing to do with Aberdeen or the date stated on the YouTube link. The set is from an old bootleg odds-and-ends collection of BBC recordings the band made over a number of dates in 1969-70. Most of the tracks were later included on the official "Live at the BBC" 2-disc set from 1995, and the others have been pretty easily found through other sources for years. The misinformation about being recorded at "Radio Aberdeen" (which apparently never even existed) on a specific single date has unfortunately been repeated so often that many people believe it's true.

Is it the one from "Live at the BBC"?

Well, it's not the same live version of Albatross.

There is another one here, at 13'00 minutes.

Maybe another one from BBC? If it's not Aberdeen.

It's not important anyway.

GJK - thanks for filling in the dates, which I was too lazy to do myself. :)

This is a bit confusing since there are actually two BBC performances of "Albatross" - the one on "Live at the BBC" is actually from 9 October 1968. I believe the 17 March 1969 one has never been officially released although I may be mistaken about that.

OK, two versions of Albatross, both at BBC. :)
