This should be so interesting. Maybe we get new music, (songs about being fired) and the meet and greets are going to be quite interesting. All those questions we need answers too. I'm hoping for a nice Rolling Stone cover and interview.

Well in spanish we wouldn't say the equivalent of "He said he didn't know it". Don't remember or forgot the song would be the expression in spanish. That's why I was confused.

i think this is the tour he planned for spring 2019. it was gonna be a second leg of Solo Anthology tour. and he said he did so many dates all over the east coast that he's done with it for anthology tour and will do just other part of the country.

so my assumption is he might add some more west coast dates if this goes well, but that will be it.

and then maybe Blue Light and touring that in the fall, if everything's well. those were the plans for 2019, i believe. it all moved for a year.

I know, its uncomfortable and many performers don't operate like that. But just imagine the possibilities.

He may not see or read it but I tweeted to him to put Loving Cup and Wrong into the set. Wrong would make the perfect opener.

yes we've been on his case for doing a request portion of the show since OMS tour in 2012. he promised us he'd do it - put together a menu of songs and people can vote on it. so who knows, he might do it! we should remind him.

i've seen Vampire Weekend last summer and they seriously take 3-4 random requests from the audience towards the end of the show. it was really cool!

Anyone have information about the presale tomorrow for the Atlanta show? I called the box office and they acted like they didn't know anything. Where did y'all find the information about the meet & greets?

just go to ticketmaster at 10am local and see what you get. many places m&gs (as well as VIP without m&g) seem to be available during presale, without even knowing the code. for regular seats you need presale codes.

Oh I really hope he adds *something* on the West Coast. If he does, I'm on it. Scheduling wise the dates listed so far don't work for me. :(

I look forward to real time or soon-after-the-show updates from those of you who make it to the shows!!

elle I hope you're right about a new album/tour later in 2020 which presumably will cover more dates/states.

El Cajon is currently on pre-sale.
One Pre-sale is Citibank
Use code: First 6 digits of Citi card.

I'm thinking future SoCal dates will go on sale next Friday, Feb. 21st. Where he'll play is anyone's guess.

Lindsey Buckingham Announces 2020 Solo Tour
Shows will mark first performances since he was sidelined by a heart attack in 2019

By ANDY GREENE

Lindsey Buckingham has announced dates for his first tour since he was sidelined by a heart attack in 2019.

Two months after announcing that he’d be performing at Tennessee’s Beale Street Music Festival in May, Lindsey Buckingham has rolled out dates for a 12-date tour of the U.S. It kicks off April 25th at the Smith Center in Las Vegas and wraps up May 13th at the Magnolia Performing Arts Center in El Cajon, California.

These will be his first concerts since he was sidelined by a heart attack in February 2019.

“Unfortunately, the life-saving procedure caused vocal cord damage,” his family said in a statement at the time, “the permanency of which is unclear.”

He re-emerged just three months after the surgery to perform the Fleetwood Mac classic “Landslide” at his daughter Leelee’s high school graduation ceremony, but the students handled the vocal parts. He has not sang in public since the surgery and the state of his voice is not known, but last year his wife Kristen Tweeted out that he had met with vocal specialists. “We’re ready for whatever is next,” she wrote. “Love conquers all.”

Buckingham was let go from Fleetwood Mac in 2018 after years of tension with Stevie Nicks and replaced by Neil Finn of Crowded House and Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. He sued the band for breach of fiduciary duty, breach of oral contract and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage. The matter was settled out of court.

Last month, Mick Fleetwood ruled out any scenario where Buckingham would return to the band. “We’re very, very committed to Neil and Mike, and that passed away a time ago, when Lindsey left,” he told Rolling Stone. “And it’s not a point of conversation, so I have to say no. It’s a full drama of Fleetwood Mac, no doubt. His legacy is alive and well, and as it should be. A major, major part that will never be taken away, and never be down-spoken by any of us.”

Lindsey Buckingham Plots First Post-Heart Surgery Solo Tour
2/12/2020 by Gil Kaufman

A year after suffering a vocal cord injury following emergency open heart surgery, singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is ready to hit the road again. The former Fleetwood Mac member was forced to postpone some planned 2019 dates due to his medical issues, but on Tuesday (Feb. 11) he announced a run of 12 U.S. dates slated to kick off on April 25 in Las Vegas and keep him on the road through a May 13 gig in El Cajon, California.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday (Feb. 14) here. After more than four decades, Buckingham was kicked out of Fleetwood Mac following differences with singer Stevie Nicks in 2018 and later settled a civil lawsuit against the band after he was cut from a run of concerts in North America which he said cost him millions in lost earnings.
