How far will these Deluxe editions go?

I love these Deluxe editions that Rhino has been putting out lately, and even more so that there's a market for them! The remastered albums sound fantastic, the demos and outtakes are eyeopening, and the live tracks are my favorite of all. The Mirage Deluxe edition and Tusk Alternate in particular have let me see those albums in a whole new light.

But now that we're reaching Tango the question arises: will they continue? Tangos the last of Mac's hey-dey. Will they keep going with Stevie's solo work past Wild Heart? There's a drop in popularity there too. What about Lindseys and Christine's albums?

Here are the ones I'm hoping for:
  • Rock a Little is far from my favorite album but there are so many interesting demos from this period, many we haven't even seen. Some live audio of I Can't Wait would be great as well
  • Behind the Mask: the demos and outtakes are pretty interesting from this era (especially Rick Vito's unused tracks- how stand by the rock ended up there instead of these is beyond me). I also really like the live setlist from this tour.
  • The Dance: Why? I know this won't happen in a million years, but I'd like it just for a complete setlist. I also heard they rehearsed Isn't it Midnight (wikipedia) and Hold Me (not sure where I heard this) for this show as well, so if that audio exists I'd love to hear it.
  • Say You Will: i love the crazy production on this albums songs, but stripped down demos might also be cool to hear. You know all the songs also went through many variations to get to the final product, knowing Lindsey.

What do you all think?

I think TITN is the last.

I think there's a good chance the '75 album will be done.

I doubt they'll ever do anything beyond the LB/SN years.

I'd kill for a Mystery To Me.

That would be amazing to have the Welch years.

I would even be happy for all the BW years wrapped into one massive set. However, I would much prefer each one individually.

I really think there's a strong chance for RAL to be rereleased, it makes marketing sense and at the end of the Wild Heart liner notes there seemed to be a little teasing about something.
I'd like to see also the White Album but I don't know how much it's feasible, for now it's been either underdeveloped or skipped.
I think if the expanded editions continue doing well they will go on.

Little is known about the recording sessions for the 1975 White album other than the rumor that a version of both "Sorcerer" and "I Don't Want To Know" were recorded. The 2004 Special Edition was very underwhelming with merely a Jam session tacked onto the end, along with the "single edit mixes" of Rhiannon, SYLM, Blue Letter and Over My Head.

Seeing as how the 2004 special edition version of the White Album had minuscule extras compared to the ones they compiled for Rumours and Tusk, I'm inclined to think that the unused songs that were recorded (Sorcerer, IDWK, etc) were either thrown away or lost.

However, they could still remaster the album, do a 5.1 mix, include a disc of a live show (wouldn't it be great to hear pristine live versions of "Why", "Hypnotized", "Station Man", etc with those perfect three part harmonies?) and maybe even a DVD of the whole Santa Barbara show, which still exists according to Ken Caillat.

Even without a bunch of outtakes, extras or alternate versions of songs, I'm sure they could come up with a nice package of never before heard or seen "stuff" to warrant a Deluxe Edition of this album! Truly one of their best albums, in my opinion!!! It would be a shame NOT to attempt to do SOMETHING special with it in regards to a Deluxe Version.

Pre BN - I would DIEEEEEEEEE for a Deluxe Edition of "Bare Trees" - but that's some wishful thinking on my part!

I firmly believe the white album and Behind the Mask will both get an expanded edition, as well as Rock a Little. I don't think any of Christine or Lindsey's albums will get the expanded treatment.

I agree. I don't see BTM coming in a new release, though I'd love to see it.
Maybe more live albums from 97, 78, unleashed tour, OWTS, but I'm not sure they will be enough attractive for the record company. There already are live songs in the previous releases

I was just listening to that this morning. On my iTunes playlist I added "I'd Rather Go Blind" sadly missing from the CD.

As for more deluxe editions go, I thought they were eventually doing them all? I was hoping after the remaster of Then Play On then Kiln House, etc would follow, so hopefully after TITN, we might see those.
