"Oh Well" and the band Jet?
I love this song, but I've never picked up on the "Oh Well" reference. Guess I'll listen closer next time.
 VINES and Jet take winning and losing chances San Diego Union Tribune - San Diego,CA,USA ... breakthrough hit, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," which began as Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" and employed bits of The Who's "My Generation," Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well ... Jet |
I think the Oh Well reference is because of the whole "stop and start" nature of the song - more like Lindsey's version then the original Then Play On version. Also - the whole late 60's/early 70's vibe....classic blues/rock style.
p.s. - what happened to your Farewell Tour? It was so dramatic and suddenly you're back! |

We're so glad you're back!
We all thought you had become Cher or the Rolling Stones- and you were mounting another Farewell Tour. |
Hehehehe...
