Yes Greenmanastrat I agree with the quality. I wish The End of the Game was a combo of his wah jams and songs like Beasts of Burden.

I tend to agree with thinking it's a Les Paul. Sounds like three different guitar tracks. The rhythm even sounds like a Les Paul.

Les Paul

Yeh the Rhythm guitar sounds so chunky, in my opnion could be nothing but a les paul. If its the famous les paul of greeny´s i cant say but i dont see no reason why not:shrug:

And I would like to add to me it sounds like Greeny and only Green on guitar. The execution of the notes and phrasing is him for sure, very confident rhythm always a trait of green in his prime, which this sounds like to me!

That's definitely Nigel Watson with the bass on the "Heavy Heart" video clip. But that doesn't mean he played bass on the "Beasts of Burden" studio recording (or the "Heavy Heart" recording for that matter).

Yep, you got me there :]. I've come to conclusions a bit too fast :sorry:.

No need to be sorry, Wouter! Your conclusion is a natural one to make. But I'm sure we've all seen groups perform (or mime / lipsynch) on TV with a different lineup from the one that made the recording.
