And I don’t mean to single you out, jbrown. Your posts are mostly reasonable, I just chose to respond to your because it was the latest one that mentioned Christine. I just feel icky reading other people’s comments about Stevie “exploiting” Christine’s death because she is doing a tribute to her. |

When Bill Clinton chose Don't Stop, Stevie kept acting like it was her song. The speeches at the end saying she brought Christine back. It goes on and on. Stevie's tribute did get to me. I cried with her at the end of the song. I felt her pain. Some people see her even differently than I do. It's ok Bwboy. It's a forum. Nobody is trying to offend you or me. |
BW, we make fun of Stevie because she's become ridiculous. A caricature. She IS a total attention wh*re, and the world is all about her.

Again, thanks for your sincere reply, and I’ll continue working on not being so sensitive. |
"BW, we make fun of Stevie because she's become ridiculous. A caricature. She IS a total attention wh*re, and the world is all about her."
At this point you and many of the other regulars here are caricatures yourselves, and just as much of an attention wh*re.. You have been posting almost the same insults for close to 10 years and your observations are just as stale as the setlists you complain about. Jesus, MOVE on. |
Stevie loved Christine like a big sister. Those tears were real.
Some of her show is tributes now. Tom Petty, Christine, Prince. I believe she wanted to honor Christine. People eat it up, it's fine. If Lindsey does a tribute to her, it's going to be displayed to about 200 people. |
