Greeny and forthcoming tour

If FM are going to be dipping into their back catalogue, it's possible that they might play some PG written tracks. Which of course could be on any live DVDs or CDs released.

If so, would the royalties be a useful cash injection for PG? Danny Kirwan was in a homeless hostel at one point. I'm not sure what PGs finances are or what he's doing these days, but I remember that Sid Barrett received royalties from Pink Floyd and David Gilmour playing his songs - perhaps the same for Green.

Perhaps less realistically, could Peter guest at any live dates. He was playing in the PG Splinter Group 14 years ago, but I don't know what he's done since then.

Peter is financially secure already. He wrote Black Magic Woman.
It's unlikely he will agree to perform at any of the gigs, but who knows.

He was slowing down physically (and gaining some weight) even at the Splinter Group gig I saw in 1998, and that's a long time ago already. No telling how much mobility he has these days. The prospect of appearing at a huge arena gig with Nicks & Co. couldn't possibly have any appeal to him.

Well, let's just say I know a drummer who should be "financially secure" but does not live the same lifestyle as Peter Green. :D
I live on $900 AUD a fortnight but I don't eat smashed avocado or drink six lattes a day... in Mick's case...six shirazes at night...
