Does Stevie Sing On "Miss Fantasy"?

Can't tell whether she does or whether all the backing vocals are by Lindsey.

I dont think so. I think the only thing she sang on Extended Play was Without You.

Thanks.

Can't tell for sure, but I think I hear her (albeit faintly) on the choruses of "Sad Angel."

For what it's worth, Wikipedia credits her on the song, and cites two critics who reference her vocals on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sad_Angel

Stevie is most definitely singing on Miss Fantasy.

Where are you hearing her?

secondhandchain 11-09-2018 10:53 PM

You can CLEARLY hear her on the chorus.

She's on Sad Angel also, the only track she doesn't appear on is It Takes Time. Which whilst we're on the topic, was Lindsey clearly attempting to reach out to Stevie; by not only including strings in the arrangement but also the lyrics attempting to apologise to her. But of course, Lindsey can never appease her.

Stevie’s on Miss Fantasy and Sad Angel. She picked a few of Lindsey’s songs that she wanted to lay down vocals on.

The Chain 11-10-2018 11:33 AM

She sure does, clear as day on the chorus. I love Extended Play, the production, the songs themselves.. would've been perfect if Stevie had given it one more track. Oh what could've been:distress:

Good to know. I just wasn't sure if this was a Family Man situation. ;) Lindsey can actually play all the parts to make it sound like FM. Just listen to Countdown. It's uncanny.

I'm a human being and therefore fallible. I've probably forgotten more about Fleetwood Mac than I can remember at this point. There's also something immensely freeing in not needing to be right all of the time.

I sometimes think I can hear a bit of fake Christine on Say Goodbye,I don't know about anyone else. She's definitely not on that track.

I've never had any problem hearing Stevie on Miss Fantasy. In fact, it's one of my favourite facets of the song. I'm almost surprised she agreed to appear on it, given the title and the lyrics..

Miss fantasy
It may be you don’t remember me
But I remember you
Miss fantasy
I can see you don’t remember me
But I remember you

It's can definitely hear Stevie singing in both "Miss fantasy," and "sad angel." She sounds terrific.I love the harmony her voice has with Lindsey

While we’re on the subject, I think Lindsey’s EP songs are underrated. I know many people don’t like them.

TheWildHeart67 11-10-2018 11:26 PM

I absolutely LOVE the EP. Fantastic 4 songs. Excellently produced.
