FM's old road crew interviewed, including Curry Grant and Ray Lindsey

Interesting to hear about the madness from their perspective and some funny anecdotes too:

This is really cool, thanks for sharing!

The story of how Ray came to play onstage is great. I can imagine how funny it must've been when he just walked out the first time during GYOW.

So interesting! Curry Grant was a looker "back in the day" - I can see why he caught Christine's eye.

I had no idea Lindsey tried to teach Stevie to do the second guitar part in GYOW before turning to Ray Lindsey! lol!

Wow! That was awesome! Thank you!

This has been, by far, the most interesting thing posted on this board in months. This made me happy. Thanks :blob1:

Awesome! pretty cool seeing the printed Sydney especially Melbourne's Calder park itinerary in 77. I often wondered if they stayed at the Hilton.. It was the best day ever!! Santana was playing at the time as we were making our way to the front of the stage, squeezing inch by inch through thousands of people. My friend and i holding hands just in case we lost each other we were only 14 or 15 yrs old.. I remember looking up seeing a helicopter flying low overhead over the huge crowd. We were sooo excited knowing FM had arrived :blob1: Thanks for the memories & sharing..

This is so true. Just so interesting, and unlike anything I've seen before, both on the Ledge...or anywhere else.

Thank you, so awesome.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing this. Too bad it was only 15 minutes, I'd love to hear more from them.

Thank you Sanne for putting this up! Great stuff as always from you!

I could listen to them all day. The stories they could tell. I wish one of them would write a book.

HomerMcvie 07-10-2018 11:14 AM

That was FANTASTIC!!! I love every minute of it!

That was great- shame it wasn't longer. There must be much more of this that was cut. I'd like to have been party to the full event.

Fun, fun viewing, especially all the video clips from concerts in 1977 (an Australian Go Your Own Way) and 1980 (the Bowl). What sort of event was this, and when was it held?

A couple of guys are missing—Tony Todaro and Jeff Sova. I hope they're not dead. :(
