Other bands/artists you enjoy
 

We do all enjoy the Mac here quite a bit and I'm sorry if this thread already exists (I'm a newbie :sorry:) , but what are some other bands, artists, and maybe even genres you enjoy?

I'm generally one fro rock and metal, but I love pretty much any genre, save for country (God, I can't stand that stuff, but maybe it's cause I'm from Nuyawk lol).

As for bands, my favorite rock bands are Led Zeppelin (also my all-time favorite band, but FM is still very high in my books), Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Eagles (primarily their early stuff), Queen, Pink Floyd, Beatles, The Who, AC/DC, etc.

As for metal (I still think it's funny how I, the American Eagle-wearing college student enjoys such heavy stuff lol, but I use it primarily for when I'm running at this trail by me called the ecology center), the bands include Iron Maiden, Metallica (their early stuff), Alice in Chains, Slayer, Machine Head (I can't get enough of them these days), Black Sabbath, Sepultura, Mastodon, etc.

As with all, I'm probably forgetting many bands, so bear with me when it comes down to edits lol.

there are sooo many more, but i simply don't have enough room! I don't listen to much "modern" music. The only band i really don't like are The Beatles. I feel they are overrated...i just can't explain it.

I love Daryl Hall/John Oates, as well!!!!!!! They are my second favorites!!!!

haha awesome! Yeah, Man on a Mission has been on repeat for the past hour, i love that song!!!!

The mention of Foreigner got me remembering that I do enjoy 'em. Throw that on, along with another big fave of mine, Aerosmith.

Oh yeah, and Cream is awesome too.

I enjoy all sorts of music and have tons of albums... but the only other artist/band I'm really completely nuts about is Joseph Arthur. Been following him for about 10 years now. Don't post on any message boards about him or anything, tho.

Same here, Mick. Phantom of the Opera has gotta be my favoritem but I have plenty other I love, such as Rent and Hairspray. Oh yeah, and being a 90's kid, I do have a soft side for the music from the Disney musicals of the time (such as Beauty and the Beast and Lion King).
