It was just frustrating and worrying to only be hearing one side of the story, and it was a relief to hear something from his side (and to see that he seems to be "business as usual"), regardless of the rights and wrongs of whatever did actually go down. His public persona is eloquent and diplomatic, and he seems sincere, but for example I can fully sympathize with Stevie perhaps not wanting to be under his thumb in the studio (which is his domain/territory, after all), especially when there's a rocky history going all the way back to your teens. |

I didn't realize my words carry so much weight with you. I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure they make medicine for your type of problem. Good luck. |

Fox News for me. But there's a plus side to that, no MSNBC either. I'm just a poor uneducated Southerner who's having difficulty understanding your post. But I thought we weren't suppose to post personal attacks on The Ledge. Then again, you've outsmarted me again. You painted with such a broad brush that the moderators couldn't possibly know that you were trying to cut me down. You are clever, no doubt about it. |

Mike Levin, campaigning to fill the seat vacated by Republican Darrell Issa of California Congressional District 49 in San Diego County, counts as supporters Cameron Crowe, George Takei and producer Talia Osteen, who raised $30,000 at a single event that featured Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham. |
Fleetwood Mac did some political concerts in the past. They were never Jackson Browne or Joan Baez, of course, but they did some fundraisers for candidates, and some environmental stuff. Individual members played some environmental fundraisers that were tied to specific initiatives on the ballot, like Get Tough on Toxics and Mulholland Tomorrow and Sanctuary Arizona.
Oh, and then there was that president who got them to play at his inaugural ball and again at the White House. |
