Stevie was interviewed this week with mick and has confirmed that they will record a new album and have plenty of songs

The next question would be...when???

This was a really confusing article. At first I thought the writer had mixed Mick up with Sting. Then I thought maybe it was written by Sting. After reading it a couple of times I'm still none the wiser, though I assume Sting was at the premiere with Mick and Stevie. I'm surprised Sting and Mick never seem to have crossed paths before.

Does this suggest the EP songs will be part of the new album?

I'll be damned; Hell has frozen over! I *REALLY* didn't think Stevie would want anything to do with FM for a minimum of 3-4 years after this tour was over. I thought for sure sometime after the first of the year that Stevie would announce all of the reasons she would be doing something else. Yet 2 weeks after the tour has wrapped, she's saying the album is a go! What a wonderful Christmas present! :shocked:

Bet it has more to do with Christine than anything. If anyone could get through to Stevie, it's her. Or perhaps, even though tiring, she really did have a blast being with the other 4 on tour.

I share the same thoughts. She is the one person that can talk her into doing it.

I hope Stevie writes new material!! No more old demos... save that for Dave...
