Happy birthday Stevie! Where has the time gone? I became a fan a little over 20 years ago, then, you were about to be 50 and I was about to be 19. Now, you're 70 and I'm about to be 39. Then, Fleetwood Mac was just getting started again, now, the band I knew and adored is dead, since the departure (firing...?) of my second favorite member). Like I said, where has the time gone. Have a good one!

Stevie Nicks, the golden voice of rock in ten duets
Stephanie Lynn ("Stevie") Nicks was born on May 26, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in California. His first experiences as a singer date back to the late '60s alongside Lindsey Buckingham, then entered the Fleetwood Mac, starting the band's golden era. She is one of the most beautiful female rock voices, and we celebrate her with these 10 duets, starting with the one with her friend Tom Petty. https://www.rockol.it/news-690561/st...zoni-piu-belle |

Happy Birthday to our gal Stevie!!!!!!!!
|
It's hard to believe Stevie turns 70. I remember when I started getting into her music when she was 29 and thought .......I sure hope I will get many years of music from her. I did! :]
|
Wow, 70 years old. Time flies, when I became a fan in 1987 (at the edge of 17) she was only 39 ... which I considered as ' old' and the Rumours era was ancient history for me ... no we are 31 years further in time ... it just flew ... thanks for all those songs, inspiration etc. Will fly into NYC next march from the Netherlands just to see my favourtite band and their front-woman ....
I hope she'll have a great day with all er loved ones and wish her many years o come. |
Happy Birthday Stevie!!
This lady has brought me happiness, joy, understanding, fun, and even empathy. I truly wish her the best birthday ever. :woohoo: Jamie |
Happy birthday, Stevie!

Two favorite songs of Stevie with Tom- he called her his "Soul Sister" at one of the shows I was at:
and this one: "Well the good old days may not return"- but when together, you gave us all some wonderful times! |
Other great Stevie "duets and harmonies" include these, with John Stewart:
and these two, with Bob Welch: and this chestnut with Sandy Stewart: and Robin Zander: We have gotten a lot of wonderful music over the years. |
and Lady Antebellum:
Stevie's Grandpa would be proud: Stevie singing with Chris Isaak again, on Red River Valley! |
And a trio:
Stevie, Vanessa Carlton and Jessica Nicks- it's a Carousel, my friend: |
