I got it back in the day when it was broadcast on the radio. Pretty good show and the only SBD from this tour that I know of. Amazon shouldn't be selling it though. It's a bootleg.

I know that also Mountain View and Mansfield are available as soundboards from the 1989 tour.

I love the extended beginning on Outside the Rain. Her band never knows when she is going to start  Its like on the Wild Heart tour in Largo during If Anyone Falls she says....they just play until I start.

Love it!

Me too! But those days are long gone. Now the teleprompter tells her when she can twirl.

I was at this show at The Summit in Houston, TX when I was a 19 year old kid. I got 6th row bootleg tickets from a scalper. I was screaming so loud when she came out for "Outside The Rain". I'm going to buy the cd as a momento. How does it sound? Does it include "Alice"?

Her set list for this show is somewhat meager; just twelve songs. I was at her Mansfield show. Juliet was still in the set (a highlight of the show!). I can't recall if she performed Talk to Me.

Talk to Me was performed only at a few shows early on. I did not listen to the entire Houston concert but that would be interesting after pulling the song she put it back in. Maybe because the show was being recorded? She performed Talk To Me in Toronto early in the tour but just a week or so later the song was gone. Pittsburgh was still early in the tour and Juliet was still in but Talk To Me was dropped. Her shows at the end in CA also did not have Talk To Me and there was the earthquake show that was filmed and still no Talk To Me.

Her sets are always short but this tour was ridiculously short and for her to pull 2 songs...Juliet and Talk To Me makes it crazy short. The set needed a rocker like Stop Dragging My Heart Around, I need to know, or Rhiannon. In fact she should have added all 3 :) I love Gold Dust Woman but this tour I cannot stand to listen to the music or her singing "did your grave..OH YEAH" The sound is too 80's synth and does not fit Gold Dust well. The worst ever is her duet for 2 kinds of love. The keyboardist tries too hard at singing and sounds like he is auditioning for American Idol. I remember hearing it live and being embarrassed for Stevie. Its even worse to watch it on youtube .

The Pittsburgh Press had a spot on review of the show. It asked why Stevie never moved from the microphone the entire night (no spins or twirls). And that the set had the same mood sound the entire show. It noted that only during Stand Back and Edge did things heat up and break that same mood. I think the Klonopin had really kicked in

Her reps responded that Stevie was favoring her foot that was recently broken in a swimming pool. I had far away seats but I remember hearing many that said she had a cast on her foot that was painted black to match her boots. Anyone else can confirm this? Her tour was supposed to open in Pittsburgh but then the show was postponed and then opened in Detroit weeks later that it was supposed to. Maybe that is circumstantial evidence she was hurt?
Anyone else see this tour early and can confirm her boot cast?

On the awesome Buckinghamnicks.info it's written:

Sept. 1, 1989 – Pittsburgh, PA
The Hooters opened for Stevie. The arena top was supposed to open that night but because of weather it was closed. The Pittsburgh Press wrote an article the next day and asked the question why Stevie Nicks moved so little during her concert. Her reps stated it was because she recently broke her foot and was favouring the foot by not moving. Some fans recall seeing Stevie wearing a cast painted black on her leg. She had supposedly slipped and fell in a swimming pool. Rumours swirled that she had not really broken her foot but that her reps were covering for her Klonopin years. Also this was originally supposed to be the tour’s opening date but for some reason the dates were changed and the tour opened in Detroit instead. Fans recall this being the only Stevie or Mac show since the mid-seventies where Rhiannon was not played. And finally, it was at this show that a male fan jumped onstage during ‘Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You’, and hugged her. She kept singing and said ‘I am not afraid’ as security dragged him off

Wasn't this the same show that the "Whole Lotta Trouble" video was filmed at?
