Saturday At Bluesfest Windsor 2015: Your Chance To Win Tickets

In this three-part feature, we will preview the 21st anniversary line-up for Bluesfest Windsor to be held 10-12 July on Windsor’s waterfront.

Coming on at 10:05 pm is Rick Vito and the Lucky Devils. When Lindsey Buckingham left Fleetwood Mac in 1987 the band turned to Rick Vito to replace him. You may have also heard his riffs as he backed up Bob Seeger on the Like a Rock Chevy ads.

Vito has released 10 solo albums over the years, when he’s not touring, and he’s made numerous guest appearances for other artists including Bonnie Raitt, Roger McGuinn, Hank Williams Jr, and Jackson Browne. Appearing with Vito and the Lucky Devils will be Reese Wynans, the keyboardist from Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble.

I just finished four days in 90 degree heat at one of the biggest and best Bluefest -- in Portland, OR. But it was worth it. Such a beautiful location, with great food and fairground. Four big stages on the waterfront, with lots of boats and yachts gathered nearby to view the spectacle and hear the music. It would have been great if Rick was there; even better if was Mick's blues band. The big headliner was Greg Allman.
