Stand in front of the stage

I'll be at the 5th row at their concert in Sweden, October 10th and was wondering how many rows that use to be able to stand in front of the stage at the concert?? It's probably different in Sweden but how is it in the US? If they only take the 1st and 2nd row to stand up and stand there or is it more rows?? Haha, I'm laughing 'cause I can't explain it in english but I hope you understand anyway, hehe! :blob1: :D

Thanks for answer!
Have a nice day!

I think each venue us different. Some places they only let up the first 2 rows and others let up more then that. I know at the N.H. show they let rows AA-QQ up...which is like 17 rows(I believe).

Ok, that's what I thought too :) I hope they let the 5th row up!!!

At the Saskatoon show I had 5th row seats and they let me up to the stage. Good luck!

Just look at it as your one and only chance ever, and then get yourself up there no matter what!!

Atlanta we were told the first 15. Nashville they said the first 10, but they were letting more people up there. Just get there early and stake it out. Hopefully you won't have any problems. The band wants the fans there, so that's a good thing!

When I was at the Salt Lake City show, a man came around (I believe he was some sort of roadie or something, he had a backstage pass on) and told all of us in the front row that if we wanted to get a place at the stage we better get it now because they would be allowing, I believe, the first five rows up to the front. He said this is what the band wanted. So I'm assuming that it the band is the one that tells the place how many rows to let up to the front. I think you will be ok to make it up front.

Hi Hanna!

Hope you have a great time! Mohegan (CT) , we had close up seats and security allowed us up to the stage and said the band likes people up there.
I was right under LB's microphone, and while waiting about 45 minutes got to meet a wonderful crowd of fans.
****Just be aware that there are some really drunken nasty people that somehow get threw the crowd and will physically do ANYTHING to get your place. I had a terrible experience as this heavy "lady" did some nasty things to me and there is no recorse cause all that does is hurts the other innocent people and disrupts/dishoners the band......... I just can't believe this drunken *itch had a back stage pass. How the hell do people act like animals and get rewarded for it?

I'm not sure what the official policy was at MSG this time, but it seemed like anyone in the first section of the floor was able to go up to the front should they want to. There was a barricade keeping the next sections of the floor from going beyond the front of their section. I was technically 7th row at MSG but when I arrived and saw some people mingling by the stage, just decided to go up there and see what happened. No one ever told me to move and eventually more people joined, and there I stayed! I think it might have been a deal as part of the All Access package but it seemed like as long as your ticket placed you in that section, you were able to stick around up front.

they told us first 15 in nashville; but we were row 3.

Hanna, if I had to do it all over again, as I was right under Lindsey's foot but got bulldozed away and was so upset I left...........I would bring a key or sharp ring and defended myself against the aggressor.

I have cried myself to sleep since this dream passed me by. I was too much of a lady to cause a scene and the chance will never come again to make eye contact with Lindsey.

Don't get me wrong, the crowd allowed up to the stage was a peaceful and loving group. We all waited an hour before the show and talked about why we love the band........ The casino security allowed this drunken woman to come from nowhere and just plow (she was a good size girl) right through everyone. She jolted me (I am great need of surgery as my disc degenertive had me not able to move my left side for 8 weeks last year)....

Find a way to prepare yourself from aggressors like this. If I had to do it all over again, I would have given it right back to the drunk that pushed me out at any cost, cause this opportunity is not very likely to come again, I am 45 and spent every babysitting doller to each paycheck to buy their music and my dream was crushed from Mohegan Sun Security allowing this woman to come from nowhere after 6 songs to slam my delicate state. I missed the Edge Walk last year because only younger people were allowed up to touch Stevie's hand and yet this same Security team cant stop young drunks from plowing through 20 layers of people?

Come prepared. And enjoy Hannah!

Best of luck.

Just 4 points I'd like to make if you don't mind, considering you have made these complaints in three different threads.

#1:A knife might be more useful, or maybe a sewing needle in her thigh. You could have pretended she was a voodoo doll.

#2:Making eye contact with Lindsey?? What would you accomplish from this? A private date with the guitarist on top of an amplifier maybe?

#3:Since the bulldozer arrived after 6 songs, why couldn't you make eye contact with Lindz in all that time you had?

and last but not least #4:I was at Mohegan last year and got to touch Stevie's hand during the Edge walk. Security did not card me as I approached the stage and I am no spring chicken; I was 46!

Well, to be fair, I think security is an all or nothing type of thing at FM concerts. Either they are crazed maniacs who are willing to evict anyone who wields a dangerous camera (gasp!) or they completely turn their backs and let some drunken fools up there to ruin a good time for people who are 1--obeying the rules of a civilized society and behaving themselves and 2--trying to soak up the front row experience.

And it hurts to think that someone who was pushy, obnoxious and drunk--managed to plow herself up there because people were too polite and respectful of the band to cause a scene? It's like the squeaky wheel always getting the oil. You know that woman who did this just enjoyed the hell out of it and never gave anyone a second thought.

When I heard just how many rows of people they were allowing to the front of the stage during these past few weeks, one of my first thoughts was...this could really get out of hand some day. And I do mean dangerously out of hand. Because what happens if people stop being polite and moving aside to let the drunks up there? And what happens when security is taken a nap somewhere because, "oh, well...Fleetwood Mac draws an older crowd and they aren't about to start any trouble." My point it, anyone can start trouble and nothing should be discounted in such a way when so many people are involved. Mob mentality. Has no one ever watched CSI:p?

The only good thing is Europeans tend to have more refined manners than us boorish Yanks. So, the original poster should be fine, I hope. But the advice is well-intentioned and the frustration continues. Why not get it out among like-minded people who know what it's like to be disappointed at a concert when the crazies take over the asylum?
