Hehe, one set of those lyrics was jotted down on an airplane barf bag. I guess you just grab whatever is handy when inspiration strikes. ;)

There seems to be a couple of people auctioning on Ebay that have some rare Lindsey stuff like the handwritten lyrics. Someone had a Halloween invitation from Lindsey and Carol Ann and some polaroids of LB up on the block a few days ago. I often wonder if it was someone who knew him or someone who knows someone who knew him...

gypsysara 06-18-2003 01:08 PM

I forgot about those polaroids of LB. I think there was one with one of their producers as well as LB.

There were some polaroids of Stevie that were up on eBay last year, went for cha-ching! $$$

LOL! Livia, you are bad. ;)

Actually, it was Carol Ann!

I e-mailed the seller and this was what he told me:

"These were originally the property of Lindsay's common law wife of seven years, Carol Ann. My consignor obtained these from Carol Ann."

Somehow I think she made off with these without Lindsey's knowledge! Raided the closet, so to speak, while moving out! ;)

tuigirl 06-21-2003 01:08 AM

common law wife?

..this is off the subject a little..but "common law wife" sounds interesting.
Just exactly how many years counts for being one of those in California?
Hmmmm...could it be our man, has been "married" many times already??? Heheeee. :)

Actually, only 15 states have legally recognized "Common Law Marriages" and California isn't one of them. I've heard Lindsey took good care of his exes, though. Didn't he set Carol up in an apartment and all? Although I'm not so sure about Cheri...

Haha...Nancy,
Don't you think it's rather funny...California dosn't legally recognise "CL wives" after all it was pretty much seen as the place of "free love" and all that in the 70's!! :D

Nice thought of LB looking after his ex/exs though :)

lol well maybe that's why california doesn't recognize it! everyone would be married to everyone!!

i do think california has the opposite though... if you are separated from your spouse for so many years you are officially divorced... but i'm not sure... i seem to remember a friend in high school whose parents never divorced but separated for like 11 yrs and eventually it turned out that they weren't married anymore... but i can't really remember. sorry... tangent...
