A freaking legit CD release will fit the bill for the anniversary celebration.

We can say goodbye to the ton of boots that are floating around.

Yes My face will turn blue before that will happen.

I agree...I wish they'd put out a legit cd version of the original album. I would love for some bonus tracks but at this point seems less necessary than releasing the original album on cd. Sorry...I still don't buy the missing or damaged masters...a number of people have put together decent sounds versions based on the vinyl...you'd think those in the industry could put together a decent sounding official version.

Not holding my breath... I think around 1987 I first heard BN was going to be released on disc! Now it's funny that it's more likely to be re-released...on vinyl again!

I agree on the 1987 mention.

I love to see a vinyl release. My turntable will be spinning and my tone arm will be ready to get dropped on to the virgin vinyl.

Plus I dont need a magnifying glass to look at the tiny artwork on a CD.

Continuing the Celebration...

The first single from Buckingham Nicks was "Don't Let Me Down Again", released in November 1973. The "B" side was "Races Are Run".

No, I don't want it on a cd. It would totally spoil the magig and myth's that comes with this album. Let me play my worn out digititzed version of the album. With all the cracks and itches and ket me cherish the look of the gatefold when I took out this album out of my recordcloset....

Lovely. Will always get a kick out of the dedication to AJ, too. :)

Good work CAD. You even caught
Jerry at the approximate time. I'd
bet that photo was from 1972.

I saw Ronnie and Jerry a couple of
years later with that dude from
Memphis. I was very young at
the time.

Thank you! You're right - it was 1972. Lucky you - what a great experience. The King! :)

Getting circa 1973 pics was hard research!

September 5, 1973!

Today is the 40th Anniversary of the release of the Buckingham Nicks album, as far as I can tell anyway. Didn't think it would be so hard to verify the date, so if anyone has any other info please share. But, unless we find out otherwise... enjoy it!

Yay! Happy 40th anniversary to an album (and duo) I love very much. :xoxo:

There's a little writeup on the Buckingham Nicks album on the Waddy website in a new article:

There's also stuff on Stevie's Bella Donna and a few other artists that might interest you here.
