Glasto

That old chestnut rears it’s head again.
The Mac together with Led Zeppelin are the favourites to headline Glastonbury 2019....
I can’t remember the betting odds but both are close !!!!

Without Mr Buck, I’ll not be there..

Mr. Buck shows are the ONLY ones I'll be supporting from here on out.

In the past, they could afford to skip Glasto (not that they necessarily should have). Now, this low-rent version will be there will bells on, I imagine.

I think there's a decent chance of them playing at Glastonbury next year.
Led Zeppelin though? I cant see that one coming to fruition.
I'd take a guess at Fleetwood Mac, Arctic Monkeys and Madonna

I can't imagine Zep doing that. And why would
they want to tarnish their image being in that close
of proximity to fake mac?

I would be sickened if they did Glastonbury without Lindsey.

I don’t think they are favourites to appear on the same bill, but are both in the running to headline.
The hot money for The Pyramid is on a reformed Led Zep.
Sorry for confusion.......

Reformed Led Zep? More details if you have them.

Every interview I've seen in the past two years with
Mr. Plant, he seems less than interested.

I agree. I don't see it ever happening. HOW could a 69yo voice live up to what he cut almost 50 years ago? I think he's saving himself the embarrassment of trying.

I (seriously) though I read where there might be a Coverdale Page reunion in the works.

That's almost as bad as a new lineup of FM.

The news re Led Zeppelin reforming was in The Daily Express, uk newspaper
of sorts, but bona fine newspaper nonetheless.

Express.co.uk is reporting that Led Zep and FMac lead betting odds etc etc

(My money’s on Elton John)...

The Sun newspaper, reports Robert Plant and Jimmy Page holding talks.

Its usually just the one "oldies/nostalgic" headlining act only on the Sunday night of the Pyramid stage and something more current on the Fri/Sat nights so its highly unlikely they would both be playing in the same year...it would be one or the other.

S A M E
I also think it would have been a festival he would have really wanted to have played at in his career too

That's usually how it works out but generally it comes down to who they can get and for what price. If they could ever get FM and LZ in the same year they aren't going to turn it down. However both bands would come at a massive price. They have had more than one oldies act in the past but it doesn't happen often.
