If You Could Have Any Job In The World ...

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

I would be an oceanographer at Humboldt State University in Arcata (Home of the Redwoods), & my colleagues would be such esteemed scientists as Professor Lori Dengler & Professor Gerard Fryer.

What would you be?

Perhaps you would want to work as a salesman for a nationally known homebuilder? Perhaps a packing-plant worker on the killing floor? Perhaps you want to work for Red Devil manufacturing home fireworks? Be a film director or a regional symphony conductor? What would you be?

I would definitely want to live in New Zealand again and work for WETA.

If not that, I'd wanna be a full time musician...on the road and such.

and i really love what I do, so this is very difficult. the only thing I would even consider doing, other than dentistry, is in the vet area. Working with animals somehow. If those two were't available, I seriously don't know what i'd do.

My dream job is to be a successful Concert Promotor. Bill Graham Jr. if you will.

Been there, done that, burnt out, quit.

I think I'd enjoy being a librarian, actually.

I am lucky enough to do exactly what I want to be doing, Author Events Coordinator. I get to travel and meet interesting (and not so interesting) authors.
I just got home from 2 weeks on the road with Jenna Bush. Whatever your political leanings (and mine are very very left leaning), I came to admire Jenna, for using her status to write and promote a book dealing with HIV/AIDS awareness and working with UNICEF. The best thing about it was that we visited several school districts, all in red states where they would never have let Chelsea Clinton in their auditorium to talk about AIDS. Jenna however, was greeted with open arms, and the students left with a better understanding (and hopefully compassion for) HIV patients.

I would light the top of the Chrysler building every night and then live if not bask up there in the light.

Well they're still cool, it's just that being dead isn't very useful for other things :( The guy in the pic was okay btw :)
