Mick the Survivor!!! (swine flu)

Don't know if anyone reported this or not... haven't been through all the threads, but - TMZ has a video clip of Mick on their website saying he got over swine flu about 10 days ago. So glad to know he's doing better! :woohoo:

Interesting. I know he said he had the flu, but I didn't know it was that strain. I know he said they are usually a huggy group, but that everyone was avoiding him Friday and it made him feel quite desolate.

Well, it's good they all have a little break before the final countdown.

Drummer Mick Fleetwood At Lax By Tmz... He Just Go Over Swine Flu

FLEETWOOD MAC DRUMMER MICK FLEETWOOD AT LAX BY TMZ... HE JUST GO OVER SWINE FLU

Sick Mick -- Fleetwood Drummer Had Swine Flu

And now the biggest story about Fleetwood Mac since they reunited in 1997: Mick Fleetwood just had the dreaded pig virus, A.K.A. swine flu.

We got the infection-free legend yesterday at LAX -- who said he was down with the sickness just 10 days ago.

Though symptoms include fever, diarrhea and vomiting, Mick says it "wasn't too bad."

When did he have this? My sister had it and couldn't get out of her bed for at least a week.

Maybe it was just a bad case of the flu, everyone knows how reporters like make things seem bigger than they actually are

I suspect Mick was being just a bit dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. The common cold by any other name. I suspect one or more of the concerts would have been canceled if he really came down with H1N1.

Well Mick was certainly on top form on 27/ Oct in Manchester.
I didn't have the pleasure of seeing the last UK show at Wembley on 6th November.

Typical, they come to England and he gets swine flu.

Funny near the end of the article where they call him MAC.
Why is is so hard to get members of the band names right..??

The swine flu isn't dangerous, if you want to know, because I have it now, lol :D
Fun to see that Mick had it too, tho it's not that funny to have it...but it seems like he's better now! Hope he is! I'm better now, just coughing A LOT...

Elton John cancelled a few concerts two weeks ago, including Dublin, due to swine flu.
A friend of mine had it and her doctor told her she could decide for herself whether it was swine flu or regular flu ... Make of that what you will!
Still, common cold and flu are completely different animals, and I think most people know one from the other. Flu just knocks you flat on the floor.

Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood just recently got over the dreaded H1N1 virus, aka swine flu, and that’s no rumor.

In a video on TMZ, the drummer talks about some of the precautions he took while having the virus, which included staying away from his 94-year-old mother, and even jokingly interfered with the interviewer's proximity as if he were trying to infect him.

All joking aside, the world still wonders if Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks will ever tour again.

You can check out the video of the no-longer-sick drummer on TMZ.com.

Mick was interviewed by phone on Melbourne radio this morning about the FM tour starting here next week, but mainly about his blues band coming here in February.

He mentioned that he's experienced significant after-effects from the swine flu and that he's been in bed for most of the time since the UK leg finished being "dosed-up". They fly here to Melbourne on Friday with the first show on Tuesday, so only five days time now.

Mick's performance takes quite a bit of energy, so I hope he's feeling ok by the time he gets here.
