Christine at the Wembley concerts?

What do we think the chances are that Chris will turn up - surreptitiously - at the London concerts?

I am sure that she won't perform, but I am wondering whether this time she will turn up. Perhaps, as last time, it'll be a last minute decision and she'll sit up with the sound guys somewhere obscure?

Well, we all speculated she might turn up at the last Earl's Court concert back in 2003 and we were right she did. She just didn't join the band on stage. I'd say it's likely it will be the same case this time: she'll come to see the show but won't perform.
It would be fantastic if she did come and sing at least one song though. I'm sure Mick will attempt to persuade her.

I was thinking this and I am betting on her going to the last, November 4 show. I'm not entirely delusional. I don't expect her to come out. Mick didn't even ask her to come out for his blues band performance, so I know they won't ask her for Fleetwood Mac. They know she doesn't want to. But even if they merely say something about her, they better wait and say it for the November 4, 2009 show so that I can hear it.

Michele, the last show is now on November 6, just so you don't turn up at Wembley Arena two days before and wonder where everyone is! :)

She was at the final UK show last time but it was never intended she would appear on stage. I heard a rumour that there was a hope she would but that certain band members were taking some convincing

I think Christine will appear in black chiffon & midnight-suede combat boots, & will beat her tambourine furiously against Stevie Nicks's foundational particular.

A great time will be had by all.

Goodness! Thank you. I am confusing myself with these concert dates and I post them wrong incorrectly too.

I have shown up when there was no concert. I did that for a Stevie show in Reno. I came the wrong night.

No drugs, no alcohol involved:distress:.

I reckon she'll go to one of Wembley dates - she wont perform though.

But she did attend a Blues Band performance in Canterbury --

I'd be surprised if she didn't do the same for Stevie & Co.

According to one of the ITM interviews she did, they asked her to perform Don't Stop, but she refused. It didn't say who asked, but I'd guess that Stevie and Mick, at least, were the drivers behind that proposal. It will have been a no-go from the start, but it seems the offer was made.

Perfect Storm

If she does come out and sing, I hope they have their insurance paid up because the place would come unglued.

I'd get on a plane and go see her onstage again in a fkn second.

Yes, that's what I meant. She was in the audience and Mi ck didn't ask her to come up because he knew she wouldn't want to. That was a very small venue. If she wasn't going to come onto the stage for that (or even stand up -- Mick didn't refer to her by name), then I know she won't come up for Wembley. But even if she is going to be present, which I expect she will be, I would like to be there.
