Joan Allen?! Darn!

dissention 02-11-2005 11:02 PM

Joan Allen isn't a Republican. She's as liberal as they come. Didn't have kind words for Republicans when she was promoting The Contender. Gellar isn't a Repug, either, her husband is. She's a big supporter and contributer to Planned Parenthood. Neither is Dennis Quaid.

He's a huge one. Considering that he claims to really be Frank Booth, though, I don't think the Republican party has much use for him.

Yes thats one that confused me too! lol...most of these I had already knew as republicans like...Sara Evans (most country singers), Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shannen Doherty (I have read a quote before where she said she was a strong supporter of Bush), Emma Caulfield (who said she would quit acting and join Elizabeth Dole's campaign if she ever ran for president). But again, some of the people on the list were a shock!

Well, I generally can't stand any of those people anyway. I wish I could smack Nick and Jessica, Catherine Hicks, Chuck Norris, Heaton, Judd, and a few of the others.

As for these people...

I have at least some level of fondness for all of them (especially Reba, Denzel, and Sara). I'm not surprised about the country singers ('tis par for the course, most unfortunately for me, seeing Reba as one of my idols), but I am surprised about some of the others, Denzel Washington especially.

Hmm, I was pretty sure Sarah Michelle was a republican, but I know Freddie is! I thought that Dennis Quiad wasn't one either, thats why I was confused to see him on the list. But most on the list are acurate, I have read stuff about them before.

Sara Evans is a very strong republican, one of the reasons I love her (besides her awsome music!). She played GOP convention and has been one of the few republican celebrities to SPEAK OUT and be a proud conservative.

Patricia Heaton, whom I love, is very religious and a stron pro-lifer!

Interestingly, the source of the this information is not listed in that we are not provided with how this information was discerned. For example, Bo Derek and Ted Nugent have openly exclaimed in the past that they support the R part; I recognize some of those names from situations like that. But, we are not told how the information about the others was obtained or if they have previously voted R and did not do so in this last election. I certainly know more than one R who either did not vote or voted and not for W because of his INSANE economic policies like spending money by going trillions in debt.

No! Not Adam Sandler, Ben Stein, Alice Cooper and John Popper! :distress:

Yes, and Craig is quite the (conservative) political figure. But I love the lady's style and music.

That is why I can't stand Heaton. But no surprise there. I understand her viewpoint to a degree but she's too radical for me.

Check your sources, darling, because they're full of excrement.

Ohhhhhh! About Heaton. :distress: I was suspecting that, though, cause she has like, 8 kids or something.
