The media is confused about what a selfie is!
I'm seeing this more and more on TV. Broadcasters, in particular. For example they might show photos of two people together, sometimes groups of people, and say "so and so took this selfie!" It's photo you took that you're featured in. In this case, it's a photograph.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a selfie, by definition, a photo you take only of yourself? |
