Shipper?
Ok, I have been meaning to post this question for a while now. I know shippers are fans who want SN and LB to be together, but how did the term "shipper" come about?
I think I missed the memo on this one. ;) |
Isn't it derived from Relationship?

It's not solely applied to Stevie and Lindsey "shippers":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shipping_(fandom) However, the archives of the newsgroup X-files show that the word "shipper" was already in established use among fans of The X-Files as early as May 1996 [1]— just three months after the first Pokémon games were released in Japan. The TRUTH is out there. |
I had not heard this term before!!
I was listening to Buckingham Nicks the other day- and it really got me thinking about how S and L were really a couple there for awhile. Presumable a happy one. |
ahhh, makes sense now, duh, why didn't I think of that? (hitting my hand on my forehead)
Gotta admit SN and LB have a relationship that great legends and stories are made of. |
Lindsey & Stevie once dated?
